It all started with a book? Or perhaps it was a combination of witch's and demon summoning gone wrong and bad parenting.
Two young kids recently have become best of friends in a small village somewhere in Britain and it's 1948 a couple years after ww2 people were trying to re build still.
They lived next door to each other even. They didn't know that until they had made arrangements to met up after school.
One set of parents were delighted that their youngest son age 8 made a friend finally and the other smaller family whom only had one child hated it but they had reasons to be worried about the family next door.
They're all vampires even though they participated in church and community gatherings they're too wholesome to be killers even tho the Irish family next door dislike of them might be considered justified.
The Nightshade's are still not to be trusting of the Blackwood's even with all the nice gestures towards them and even making sure to inclued them in family events.
The Nightshade's also had dark secrets too. And the English Vampires where going be so shocked if they knew.
The kids still got to hangout after school and holidays. They went two different schools they were two years apart. The Nightshade's made sure to at least separate them as much as possible.
The nightmare that happened to be fallen them was heart breaking for both families. the next year on Blake's 9th birthday, his friend wanted to do somithing nice for him and he knew his parents would be out of town on a business trip.
The two meet up outside late that evening after the young vampire said good night to his mom and dad. He snuck out to vistit his human friend. They went down the alley in bewteen their homes to the back of the Nightshade's home to venture down the celler. It's usually locked very tightly. The taller Tealed boy picked the lock after his parents left that afternoon.
It's off limits but the two wanted to ghost hunt and the older one knew his basemet was spooky he only been down there once. It was lit up by red candles some were half melted on the steps going down. The older kid hepled the vampire even tho he didn't need the help he liked it.
It was his birthday after all. The old room smelt like the family but also a hint of dust and blood. Blake shivered at the feeling of his fangs coming out. He hoped his friend didn't notice. It was emberssing just by a tad bit off old dryed blood he gotten a bit thristy. ~He was only 9 so getting use to his new fangs~ he thought as he walked behind his friend.
They went in father pretanting to look for ghost's Blake was neverus. But his friend made sure it was all going to be okay. Until they bumped into a huge cage big enough to fit them both.
Getting scared Blake reached out towards the older but something else had the olders attention a book it was huge. it had dark purple makrs on it. Look's to be where some the sorce of the old blood was coimg from odd.
The teal haired boy grabbed the book and tried his might to open it. He made annoyed sound. Blake found him sitting with the book in his lap up against the stone wall.
"Do you want my help?" He asked his friend, with a shrugg after some silence the older handed the book over. Blake looked at it closely and noticed it needed a key. He looked around for it wondering what kind of key. Thinking they weren't going to have fun. suddleny like a pin dropped something small and golden rolled out of a crack in the wall.
The older boy picked it up and slit the key in the lock. it opened to a pale page and they flipped the pages looking for anything but nothing much some where empty and some words were missing or faded. And of course diffent launages too.
Blake sigh's and ready to close the book when some the words start to make sense to both the boys. And then they begin reading what they could. A page falls out as Blake shuts it. It just seems like a normal book. But the page has a demon sketched that seems to be looking at him.
The Nightshade's dark secret came to light and hell broke loose literally.
His friend got possessed luckily enough his parents rushed over and were able to hold his friend down away from hurting him. Because it seemed the demon demanded Blake to be his. The was crazy and creepy. Like in a blood sacrifice because he couldn't mean in marriage, for one he was 9 and a vampire.
Like yeah he liked the Teal haired boy but why would his friend lie about that but demons do lie.
Afterwards they did a special spell to make the human forget about the book and demons plus vampires too.
The younger one had not seen his friend in a week and he was getting worried. His mom did her best to try and ease his stress level but it didn't work but he told her his thanks for trying. And in the next month what follows was weird.
He received letters and teal roses and had nightmares for a couple years. He asked his brother Terrence to make him forget and the following day he left for bordering school. And the letters stopped.
