"aonung what's wrong? It's gonna rain soon. what are you doing?" aonung sighed.. sitting down. "um.. i was just kind of embarrassed." what..? why was he embarrased? "about..?" aonung looked away.. it started drizzling.. "when.. i called.. you that. y'know.. uh.."
"i didn't.. mean to. i was just kind of.. y'know.. haha.." neteyam.. didn't forget about that. he thought about it too much.. for his own good. every time heat rushed to his cheeks.. darn it.. and he would get the feeling that there were so many butterflies jumping around in his stomach.. stupid.. i talked to kiri about it.. i don't.. believe her..
"its fine.. i don't really care" neteyam said.. yeah that was a lie.. he cared. a lot. it made him.. all.. mushy.. "oh... oh. uh.. okay.." he didn't..? i-i.. thought.. oh.. well. why.. did i care? aonung was seriously questioning himself.. why did he care.. that neteyam didn't..
before they knew it.. it started pouring. pouring hard. eclipse came soon after.. they were stuck away from the village. in a marui.. alone. it started thundering too.. bad weather. great. now they couldn't leave..
"ah.. now where stuck.. how wonderful." neteyam attempted to lay on the marui floor. which was hard because it was dusty as hell.. "we should probably sleep.. we don't really have another choice?" neteyam questioned.. he was laying down with his arms behind his head. aonung was just sitting.. "probably.."
aonung laid down too. he turned the other way. so towards the ocean.. not towards neteyam. the thunder was loud and fierce.. let's say.. aonung didn't.. adore thunder.. nor lightning. when he was little he got lost in a storm.. and now is just.. scared. he won't admit it.. but.
neteyam couldn't sleep. yeah no way.. his brain wasn't clicking with sleep. he just laid there too.. the thunder kind of.. scared aonung. he inched closer to neteyam. he didn't say that though.. but neteyam felt the slight graze of aonung's back touch his side. neither said a word. neteyam, after a bit ever so slowly drifted to sleep. and moved towards aonung.. but asleep.. subconsciously moving his hand on the edge aonung's waist.. aonung's eyes fluttered open.. startled from the warm touch.
his cheeks suddenly felt warm. no.?? no.. did he really..? this.. this wasn't hot.. at all.. no! this was just weird.. not.. attractive.. at all.. ugh. aonung's stomach did the thing.. the weird feeling where your stomach turns but in a not.. bad way? no.. its a bad way.. it felt weird. gross. aonung wanted to lean into his touch. but.. no. thats weird..and.. gross. and.. gay. he wasn't gay.
he liked girls. he was sure of it.. he's dated plenty of girls. right? no.. no. he was straight. yeah. yeah.. aonungs had a small internal fight in his mind before he also ended up falling asleep.

they looked around every inch of the place.. no aonung or neteyam. where did those kids go off too? "there is an abandonded marui not far from here. its the only logical place to take cover in a fierce storm like this."
