Rexy's pov:
'Where am I? It's so cold and dark. -Beep beep beep- What's that beeping? Am I dead? Oh there's something bright,but I can't make out what. I think I'll go that way.' I mentally talk to myself.
"wake up?" Huh what's that. "not sure - coma." Is that people? I must be going the right way. I reach the end of the light and still can't see.
3rdPerson pov:
"WTF! Why can't I see!" The doctors turn to the now awake teen. "Kid we need you to calm down." The head doctor said.
"Okay but please tell me what's going on." The doctors start to explain how glass clashed on their face. More specifically their eyes hit the part that allows you to see making them blind.
"The good news is that there is a surgery that will make it so you can see again." The doctor explained along with the fact that Rexy might have permanent to limp from the crash.
Timeskip to went Rexy's out the hospital:
3rdPerson pov:
"This is ridiculous it cost how much for the surgery!?!" Rexy's mom yelled throughout the house.
"So I'll never see again." Rexy started crying. "Oh on we can't have that. I need you to take over the business one day." Their mother said.
"How are we going to make that much money?" Rexy question sniffling. "I have a few 'friends' that owe me a favor." She put air quotes around friends.
Back to the present:
Rexy's pov:
"And so through one of these friends she somehow found out about you. And took a kidnap mission to sell you to science. That's how I found out about you. I promise that once I got to know you I saw you differently. I don't want to kidnap you anymore." I finish explaining to Kusuo.
