Actually... The thing is that since mitsuba is an apparition, and does not remember anything (he has seen his past life) he doesn't exactly know all the words for some stuff that he hasn't seen before
made some changes!...to make it less cheesy! and more canon-
Mitsuba's pov
I was with hanako and daikon-senpai, waiting for the lame A$$ traffic safety earring boy but he had some work to do. I wanted to look for him but there was something that was stopping me. It looked like some water droplets were falling from somewhere from the...sky?
I remember that I saw some of those in my real self's memories. But whenever I did,people would be running away and watching it from thier houses. I honestly want to see this thing closely, it looks fascinating! And I can take a picture of this too!
"I didn't know you like watching the rain, mitsuba-kun!" daikon senpai commented. Rain? So that's what it's called! "I am seeing...that for the first time in front of my eyes, daikon-senpai!" I replied.
Honestly, daikon-senpai seems to be getting used to the nickname, but still annoyed. "Well, you can go take a closer look from the school grounds" daikon-senpai said "but isn't that harmful?" i asked her back
I was shocked because, whenever I remember this rain thing from my past self's memories, I remember people running all around!
Daikon-senpai giggled. "No, mitsuba kun! It is harmful only during an acid rain and there is no one there because they get wet! But still, you cant go alone! And I am not going there, at all, because if I do, I will become a fish"
"maybe you can go with hanako-kun" daikon-senpai suggested "but yashiroooooooo! I wanna be with youuuuuuuu!" Hanako whined. Suddenly, the door opened, behind it was...piece of crap, " I am here!" Kou said. "Uhm, is everything...okay?" Daikon-senpai and toilet wierdo looked at him then smirked
"Why dont you go with kou?" Hanako suggested? Honestly, being alone was better then being alone with a person with a damn traffic-safety earring"Uhm, actually-" daikon-senpai cut me off
"Alright, then! Gooooo!" And pushed me out the door with kou "senpai-what happened-"
We both were awkwardly silent. Then kou spoke up "where were they talking about?" Kou asked "oh, I wanted to see the rain, close..." I replied. "Alright then, let's go!" Kou exclaimed. "I can go out there, alone" mitsuba insisted. Kou nodded in response, he was about to leave but i grabbed him by his arm
"nevermind-...I may want someone with me...to annoy-"
•time skip•
"We are here!!!" Kou exclaimed "it's beautiful!... The rain!" I said "I hope teru-ni doesn't get mad at me for going in the rain..." Kou mumbled to himself but I still heard him
"Why do humans overreact in the rain?" I asked. "They don't! It's just that- their clothes get wet, they can get sick- and sometimes there is thun-" kou tried to explain but I cut him off "oh! What's that? I asked "oh, those are just puddles," kou told me.
I quickly jumped in the puddle and some of the water got onto Kou's clothes. "Hey!" Kou exclaimed. I replied with a chuckle and jumped some more and then stopped to look around a bit. Kou was obviously mad but now, he had a smile on his face
Kou's pov
Mitsuba kept on jumping on the puddles, and looking around"I like this" mitsuba commented, which made me feel good, atleast now my ghost friend could feel a bit of...the things humans do
There was a comfortable silence for a few minutes... But the thunder filled it "eeeeeee what was thatttt" Mitsuba screamed. "Thunder? That's unexpected" I replied. And soon, there was another lightning strike
"it's like- those things that come out from your...raiteijou?" mitsuba said, struggling to pronounce it. "yep, the lightining from my staff" kou comfirmed. Mitsuba sighed "this won't hurt me, will it?" mitsuba asked "you're a ghost, it won't" kou reassured
"well then, lame earring-" mitsuba began "is saying kou or minamoto-kun that hard for you?" kou asked, clearly irritated. Mitsuba's nickname for kou got on his nerves and mitsuba knew that, it was something he was proud of. "what's that? can't the little exorcist handle a simple nickname?~" mitsuba said in a teasing voice
kou didn't say anything back, he responded with a glare "you're annoying" kou said, out of the blue "is that the best you could come up with? how-" mitsuba skipped into another puddle, getting mud on kou's shirt again
"pathetic" mitsuba finished with a hint of sarcasm in his voice
kou looked at mitsuba in an unamused manner, then he crossed his arms and looked the other way "aww? can't even handle a simple insult by 'cute lil me'?" mitsuba teased again. Kou didn't respond back, he continued looking somewhere else.
Mitsuba had to admit...he felt guilty...wait- guilty for what!? hell no! kou deserved those insults. mitsuba sighed "hey... i was only kidding! stop being such a sensitive baby" mitsuba said, to which kou remained silent. Mitsuba groaned "fineeeeee, i'm sorryyyy" mitsuba whined
Kou turned around, with a somewhat smug look- wait wha- kou jumped into another puddle, this time getting mud on mitsuba's already- drenched clothes. Kou then snickered and laughed. Mitsuba had a comeback up his sleeve but he sighed and let the blonde have his little moment
He loved seeing that smile...
a few moments later, some rain drops and sunlight formed a rainbow. "hey, mitsuba! Look at that!" I told him. He looked up and his eyes widened at the sight of the rainbow!
No one's pov
•in the bathroom•
"Hanako kun! Look at the rainbow" yashiro called hanako "hmmm! It really is-" his eyes widened for a minute, then he smirked "hey yashiro! Look over there! There gayness has reflected" yashiro looked under the tree, seeing the two boys admiring the rainbow, then she smiled while hanako smirked
From the window, they both shouted "JUST KISS ALREADY!!!". The boys heard them and immediately turned around and made a distance beetween each other. " they are so obvious, right? Hanako kun?" Yashiro asked hanako "we can love each other like they do, too, Y'know, yashiro?" Hanako replied while nene turned red "ha, no" Yashiro protested "EH?!" hanako replied
