Obanai has even started drinking and even cutting himself up, he has started and one day,  Giyu (Giyu and Obanai are best friends here) came to Obanai's house and to his horror Obanai was laying unconscious on the ground and his mouth was full of blood, Giyu picked up Obanai and rushed to the hospital, and call all of their friends and the first one to come was Sanemi, doctor came outside of the room and told that his been diagnosed with cancer.. everyone was in horror and Sanemi started to cry and went in Obanai's room 'You! I love you! and your gonna leave me like that!' Sanemi cried as he hugged Obanai 'Im.. (cough) sorry Sanemi' Sanemi kissed Obanai and the doctor came 'Mr Shinazugawa, mr Iguro might die soon, he might die today only' 'You must be joking right?! I'll PAY ANYTHING! PLS SAVE HIM!' 'Im sorry mr Shinazugawa' the doctor left the room 'S-Sanemi pls come here' Obanai asked him in a timid voice 'I have always loved you since we became a couple, now it's time for me to go, pls take care of others and my sweet little Genya, okay?' 'No! this isn't happening.. RIGHT?' and then Obanai died in front of Sanemi's eyes.

Weeks passed since Obanai died, everything was quiet, Sanemi was specifically the most quiet one now.. and Kanae after that she started despising herself and made her feel that she was the one who killed Obanai.

Genya tried to help his older bro but it isn't helping even Uzui, Rengoku and Giyu have been trying a lot, but still nothing has changed.
