ryleigh and i finish breakfast and clean up afterwards and we decide to sit on the couch and chill for a bit. we actually have a lot to do today; go shopping for clothes , and we have to the orphanage and fill out my papers for the adoption. i sent one of my manager out to pick up an outfit for ryleigh real quick, so she isn't going out in public in shorts and a t shirt that are barely staying on her.

i reached out to my interior designer last night about a room for ryleigh and she said she can get it done as soon as tonight. she had someone cancel on her for a little girls room around the same size as the one that i have for ryleigh which is perfect. i'll keep her out today and then surprise her tonight. i'm so excited.

"ryleigh?" i ask and she looks up at me from the couch

"we have to swing by the orphanage today." i say softly to her as i brush some hair behind her ear.

"no no taylor, no." she begs making me feel terrible.

"sweetie, it'll be okay. i will not leave your side the whole time we're there." i explain as i take her hand and give it encouraging squeeze

"promise?" she asks

"i promise." i respond and give her a hug. "let's go get ready, i have an outfit for you." i say and she nods and stands up

i help her change into a cute little dress and shoes.

i throw on a white long skirt and a white tank top with beige sandals and do my hair and makeup

i decide to dress relevantly nice as today is a big day.

we get into my car and my driver and one of my security people sit in the front and ryleigh and i are in the back.

the ride to the orphanage is pretty silent probably because ryleigh is nervous to go back there. it's around a thirty minute drive as we're going from my home in the west village to the upper east side. it's not far it's just it take forever to go anywhere in manhattan.

"you ready?" i ask ryleigh as we pull up in front of the orphanage

"mhm." she mumbles as she nods. this poor girl is so nervous.
