"I love you like a best friend" was something we would always tell each other. He was a boy. 14 years old. She was 12 at the time. From the first message sent they instantly coneckted. His name was Robbie. Robbie was a nice, smart, guy. He had a love for hockey and soccer, and other sports, but those where his main ones. He was tall about 6 feet. Robbie had this caring nature to him that's hard to find in a guy or anyone now a days. Robbie became her best friend.
Angel is 12. The girl Robbie was best friends with. She was a nice, smart-ish, girl. She hadn't been into sports much, but she had a panish for singing. Where ever she was, whatever time of day it was she was singing. Robbie and Angel both sang. The only difference was, Robbie was very skilled at it, Angel on the other hand was not.
The two would talk for hours for days about everything. They soon where planning a meet. When Robbie told Angel he had a lung cancer and wouldn't be able to travel that broke her heart. Not the fact that he couldn't travel, but that he had lung cancer. It seems that the nice people who do everything for others or the people with the biggest hearts get hurt the most. Sometimes in the most sever ways.
Soon Angel found out that Robbie had gotten a girlfriend. She was thrilled for him. Angel had never looked at Robbie as more then a friend. He was only a friend. Around christmas time Angel had told Robbie about her new crush. One of her cousins had brought over a friend. Robbie was saying that Angel had found her true love, but really, it was just another cute guy. Angel hadn't done to well with boys in the dating part. She hadn't a boyfriend.
One Sunday night Angel had gotten a message from Robbie's sister, Mumtaaz. She had told Angel that Robbie had taken his last breath at around 2:35 that morning. Already it was hard for Angel not to go at least 1 day without talking to Robbie, but now she had to go the rest of her life without talking to him?! That was a horrible thing to even think about. We all figured it was coming, but so soon?? He was so young. Only 14.
Angel and Mumtaaz helped each other get through the horrible event that had happened. They told each other that "Robbie will always be with us. He will forever be in our hearts." To this day, we haven't forgotten about Robbie. Robbie was a one of a kind guy. The only guy that will forever hold a piece of her heart. The peice that has his name written on it.
