Upgrades - (Sun) ❤

As I arrive at the Pizzaplex I stop to take in the majesty of what I'm seeing. No matter how many times I come here, I'll never stop being amazed at the absolute splendour of the place. I make my way inside, and head to the desk where I pick up my security badge.

I head straight to meet Vanessa, awaiting her instructions for today. As soon as she spots me, she waves me over and says "Y/N! You're 5 minutes late! Well, at least you're here now. Today I need you to patrol the plex, keep an eye out for lost kids and the like."
" Ok, I can do that! I'll see you at closing time. " I reply to her, and I head into the main area of the building.

At the end of the day, I go through my routine patrol, making sure there aren't any kids trying to stay behind after closing time.

Satisfied that there are no kids or adults hidden away, I begin to head to the exit. Just as I'm about to head out, I hear a voice behind me.

"Miss Y/N, may I have some assistance?" It's Freddy, I wonder what he wants.
" Yeah, sure. What's up big guy? " I ask.
" I was wondering if you could go check on Sun in the daycare. " He starts. "My programming prohibits me from going there, and I want to make sure he is doing well after the upgrades he underwent earlier."
"What upgrades? I ask, puzzled.
" I'm not too sure, Mr Borington installed them and he wouldn't say what they were. "

Oh god, Jerry Borington was the one who did the 'upgrades'?! I needed to go make sure Sun was ok, because Jerry was well known for making terrible 'improvements' to the animatronics without consulting anyone else first.

One of the worst examples was just last month when he decided it would be a great idea to install Chica with a flirting program so that she was more 'appealing to the older crowd'. That was quickly put an end to when her programming bugged out and Chica began calling the little kids inappropriate names and flirting with them. Luckily I managed to fix her, but not until after we got several angry complaints from parents. Honestly, it's a wonder that guy still works here.

"Thanks for letting me know Freddy, I'll go check on Sun right away!" I quickly dash off towards the Superstar Daycare to make sure Sun wasn't too badly mutilated.

When I finally reached the metal door to the daycare, I opened it, and made my way into the Daycare using the employee entrance. As I stepped in, I called out softly "Sun? Are you in here?"

I looked around for a moment before seeing him sat at a table facing away from me, mumbling incoherently to himself. I caught a few snippets of what he was saying. "Now this is strange... Why do I need..?" Was all I heard.

"Sun? You ok?" I called to him, and his head quickly jerked around towards me.I

"Y/N! I'm so glad you're here! I just had an upgrade earlier and I was wondering if you could explain what these new parts are for? They feel a bit strange and I don't know why having them would help me look after the kids." Sun suddenly turned his whole body to face me, blasting me with his usual torrent of words.

I made my way towards his table as he stood up.
" Sure! I can help you. Is this about the upgrade that Jerry did earlier? " I asked him.
"Yes, I think so." He began. " Could you explain to me what it's for? "
"I'm not a hundred percent too sure myself, I only heard about it a few minutes ago, and I came to make sure you were ok." I explained.
"Oh that's so nice! Thanks for thinking of me!" He beamed.

" No problem. Now, do you want to show me what the new upgrade is? "
"Sure, but just... wait a moment... What? That didn't happen before!"
" Sun? You ok? What happened? " I ask, puzzled at what he meant.
"Look! Down there!" He pointed to his lower half, and I stared, confused for a second, before noticing what he was pointing at.
