Finally, after a long day at work, I could go hang out with my son! Not that he wanted that. I didn't care! I wanted to hang out with him! If I followed him around enough, I assumed that he would find a way to like me! Does that sound weird? I was just a concerned mom. You know, just a supes cool mommy-o with a passion for fashion- and her Chasey-Wasey! Ok shut up. I know you're judging me. You think I was one of those moms who is overprotective, and a hovering parent! You're probably right. I will admit to that. I ain't got no time for haters, though! Arrgh... Sorry for the bad grammar. This is just a weird thing for me to be writing down. Yes, I know that the publishers told me not to acknowledge that I'm writing this but, it's just so weird and depressing to think about Chase after five years. I mean, he would be eighteen by now. I will always think of him as a thirteen year old boy.
I know that you people want to hear the story so you can let everyone read it, blah, blah, blah. First, I'm going to give you a supes cool update on my life now. I have another baby boy now. He is four and three quarters. He is named Flash. Do not comment on the name, I was still grieving for Chase. So I got married to this rich dude after Chase died, it was like this on a whim decision. I had never been married before (I KNOW WHAT YOU'RE THINKING DON'T ASK) and guy was like, loaded. So, here I am at age thirty one, unmarried and this rich guy puts up an add 'Wife wanted for rich guy. Please deposit 5,000 dollars if you would like to apply.' And there's this picture of this hot guy.
So, like, of course I deposit the 5 thousand dollars! He's a rich guy. And so then we get married. He showed up to the wedding (OUR FIRST DATE) with this bag over his head and I'm like, "Can you breathe?" and he just nods. We do the ceremony real quick and we go to my house and he starts taking the money I store in my freezer. I guess he wanted to put it in savings. I was married to him for three months. Technically I still am, but this one day he just disappeared. It was real sudden. He didn't give any reason. I mean, he had never spoken a word to me or taken the bag off his head or shown me his rich guy house, well, once he told me his name was "Ha Ha". You know, looking back I'm starting to think this guy wasn't legit! All he did was take my stuff to his 'house'. Boy am I dumb.
So after Ha Ha left me, I searched for fulfillment and adopted a one month old baby, Flash Ha Ha Lizonki. He really is amazing. His lively spirit has done wonders for my soul. I didnt even mind the midnight feelings and constant diaper changes. He was so cute that it didn't even matter! (Publisher's note: LIAR!) My baby is so cute!
Enough about me! Now I guess I must write about what happened on that terrible day. I might cry so be prepared!
So, I got home from work and went up to Chase's room. I had just bought him a new gaming console and he loved it! It actually forced him to spend time with me because I had to show him how to work it. At 3:00 when I burst into his room, Chase was nowhere to be found! I looked everywhere, even his friends' houses! I just could not find my baby! At 6:43 my cell phone rang. It was this lady from the tech department at work. I had talked to her that morning, and found her very, very boring and dull. What was her name? Hope? Light? No! Faith! I remembered making a joke about her name earlier, "I hope you have faith in me, Faith!" She had been unamused.
Our conversation when a little like this:Me: Hi, Faith!
Faith: (extremely sad voice) Hi.
Me: So, how 'ya doin'?
Faith: Listen...
Me: Mmmmmk.
Faith: I'm sorry but, I am responsible for your son's death.
Me: WHAT?
Faith: No, no, I didn't kill him personally it's just...
Me: Is this some kind of sick joke, jerk? I certainly don't have faith in you anymore! (hangs up phone)
Later that night, Faith sent me an e-mail explaining everything. You probably know about all that, or will find out soon (I heard that they were able to hack into that Morgan girl's thoughts right before she died so they could write about her). Well, that's pretty much it. Not much more to tell. Oh! Wait There is one thing. Later that night, as I was crying myself to sleep, the HG flickered on. It was one of those mandatory watch breaking news stories. Someone had leaked all the details of Faith's story to the press. It told about a website where you could go to watch your missing friends and family online. I immediately ran to my computer and logged on. I pulled up the website and followed Chase's friends. They were asleep, all except that Alica girl who was seemingly keeping watch. I clenched my fists in rage. That was the girl who had killed my son. I swore to get revenge. Now, I regret that. At the time, I hadn't realized that poor, sweet Alica was feeling guilt too.The child was barely a teenager and had already killed someone. Not that the average person kills someone in their life...I now understand that she was feeling what I feel every day of my life. Now, I feel so, so sorry for her. Now, we're friends, or at least on good terms. We understand each other. We know what it is like to lose someone you love.
AUTHOR'S NOTE
Sorry Katherine is such an annoying person. She just kind of turned out that way. I felt like the book needed a less depressing chapter. Thanks for reading! I am surprised with how many people have read this so far!
