Inshi crossed his arms as his hair lit ablaze, "Once we figure out your quirk we'll be the strongest hero team in Japan,"
Izuku giggled as he held Hiko's hand, "Your hair is on fire again,"
"Shit," Inshi grumbled as he put it out.
"Inshi what have I told you about cursing," Inko scolded as she walked up "Where on earth are you learning this language?" she shook her head with a sigh.
"Sorry," Inshi groaned.
"Come on, let's hurry inside," Inko ushered her kids into the building.
"Momma, what kind of quirk do you think I'll have?" Izuku looked up at her.
Inko tapped her chin, "Hm, maybe you'll be able to lift things with your mind," she smiled at him.
"That would be so cool! Right, Ko-Nii?" Izuku bounced a bit.
Hiko gave him a nod and then turned to watch the fish swim around in the tank while the others talked about possible quirks. Izuku bounced on his feet, from excitement but also nervousness.
He hadn't manifested his quirk yet but he's always been a late bloomer, he just needed to be patient. However, he couldn't, he had to know when it would manifest or he'd lose his mind from the anticipation.
"Midoriya?" The doctor called out.
The family all stood up, Hiko having to tug Izuku's hand, the boy stiff from his nervousness.

"Hisashi, please! It isn't his fault!" Inko yelled.
A loud crash could be heard, "It isn't his fault?! Our families a fucking laughing stock because of him! How did you birth such a worthless child?!"
"Don't you dare call him that! He's your son, how can you be like this?!"
"He's no son of mine! Things have already been hard enough with him acting like a damn sissy all the time but now he's a quirkless too?! He has always been a burden on this family and you know it!"
Izuku pulled his knees to his chest and cried as his parents screamed at each other because of him. Inshi closed their room door and hugged Izuku as Hiko covered his ears so that he couldn't hear them anymore.
"It's ok...don't listen," Hiko said quietly.
"Hisashi stop! What if he hears you?!" Inko whisper yelled.
"You think I give a shit about that right now?" It was quiet for a moment "We need to make sure the other two turn out well and grab lots of attention, hopefully, everyone will forget about him then," The man sighed.
Inko did her best for her family but after that night everything began to fall apart. Hisashi did his best to stay away and the kids were no longer themselves. They'd either stay in their room all day or out at the park, not wanting to be around their parents.
The tension in the household was unbearable and eventually Hisashi left for good. He sent money for years before eventually that stopped and they never heard from him again. Soon everything got to Inko and she stopped trying. She did what she needed to do as a parent but that connection was gone.
