It's the 5th time. 5th time just this week that they've fought. Their relationship is going down. People say that you'll grow up and find your soulmate. They thought they were each others soulmates. Now they're just people who used to love each other. Neither of them really know where their relationship took a turn but it was a really bad turn. One of them does anything and the other one gets pissed. Both with their anger getting the best of them. But one day... they would have their last argument.
They were sitting at their dinning table. Eating. Nothing else. Neither look up. Just staring at their food. The silence was killing Bakugo. So he spoke up.
"So; how was work?" Bakugo calmly asked.
"Fine." Dabi answered, making Bakugo roll his eyes.
Silence filled the air again. It was eating Bakugo alive. He missed his husband. The one he fell in love with. Now, they're basically strangers living in the same house.
Bakugo sighed and went to speak again before getting cut off, "Will you just shut up." Dabi said.
"Well ex-fucking-scuse me for trying to talk to my husband. I didn't think i'd get married to just be ignored for the rest of my life." Bakugo growled.
"Well it's annoying." Dabi answered.
"I'm the annoying one? Oh you've got to be kidding me." Bakugo chuckled.
"I'm just trying to fucking eat without some bitch nagging me the entire time." Dabi said, slamming his chopsticks on the table.
"Oh well i'm so sorry your majesty!" Bakugo started sarcastically, "I'm so sorry i bothered you for once in you fucking dumb ass life."
"Here we fucking go again." Dabi groaned "Always starting shit."
"I'm the one starting shit?!" Bakugo started yelling.
"I don't see anybody else around you blind fuck." Dabi started raising his voice too.
"All i tried to do was fucking talk to you! Is that so much to ask for?!" Bakugo throwing his hands on the table.
"I don't want you fucking talking to me." Dabi growled.
"Why the fuck did you ask me to marry you if you're just gonna be fucking asshole the entire time?!" He said getting up.
"If it fucking bothers you so much, why don't you just fucking leave." Dabi said.
As Bakugo was walking away, he heard that and froze. He thought for a minute before speaking up.
"Maybe i will."
And with that he went to their room. Bakugo grabbed a few bags and started filling them with his things. He got everything of his and started towards the door with his suitcase. As he went to grab the doorknob he looked at the ring on his hand. He sighed and turned around, leaving his things there.
Bakugo walked back to the dinning table to see Dabi with his head in his hands. Dabi noticed his presence and looked up. Bakugo looked at him dead in the eye. He took the ring off and placed it on the table where he once sat.
"Have fun, dickhead." Bakugo walked back out towards his stuff and picked everything up again. He walked out the door and slammed it shut.
Dabi sat there, looking at the beautiful ring across from him. He heard him getting his stuff. He heard him walk to the door. His heart shattering little by little. But who was he to stop Bakugo? He did this. He got happy when he heard Bakugo coming back. But had his heart completely shattered when Bakugo put the ring down and left. Slamming the door. A tear rolled down his face. He growled and wiped it away quickly. He took his own ring off and put down where he was sitting, the opposite of where Bakugo was sitting. He got up and left, their food, rings and relationship now long gone.
