flashback.

"Constance look at me." his hazel eyes fixated upon her dark brown ones. "he'll be ok."

he sniffled. "i told him to stay out that street shit... i told him, Aria!"

"baby i get that but you have to calm down." she rubbed his shoulders slowly as they sat in the waiting room of the hospital. "Mr. Cameron is strong, you have to have hope."

"Aria is right mijo." he looked up to see a smile on his mother's face. "even if he doesn't make it, we're strong. we're the Springers baby, we can make it out of anything."

"family of Cameron Springer?" the doctor walked out and Connie stood up quickly, almost losing his balance in the process.

as the doctor spoke, Aria watched how Connie's whole demeanor changed, how he his hands shook and his mother noticed too. she began to sob softly, not because the love of her life was gone, but her other love of her life was hurt.

...

"Con, you have to talk to me." Aria watched as his back flexed as he sat looking at his notebook in their one bedroom apartment.

"i am talking, ma. i'm writing something." she smiled, knowing writing poems and songs was his everything.

she came up behind him, softly kissing on his shoulders. "when you make it, you bet not forget about me."

his head whipped around fast. "what? are you crazy? baby, you're coming with me."

she giggled as he turned around and lifted her up before laying her on the bed. his lip connected with hers, kissing her passionately before laying his head on her chest. "ow! you know i just got my piercings done nigga."

"my bad. but you know i would never leave you. you're the one who really supports me my love. i cant lose that."

"i love you." she smiled. he pecked her lips once.

"i love you more, mi amor."
