Chapter 3

Amalia PoV

It was a few months after Reaper and Rider had their patching party. The same night my heart got broken into pieces. I made a decision to leave the town and the club behind and start somewhere new and to try to get  a ER nurse degree.

Of course nobody knew of my decision. I started to pack every little by little and people didn't even notice I had empty the room I had in the club house. Not even my brother or Reaper had noticed I don't go to club parties they have. Looks like I became invisible to people that I care and love.

Well here I am at the last club party I will be attending. After this I am moving to a different state away from the club. I am ready to start a new life and see what brings new opportunities to me. And I will let Rider know tonight is my last night in this town.

I take a deep breath and look around the club property, which has been my safe place for many years. Opening the door the first thing is see are club members drinking and have some club bunnies on their laps. I take a second to see what I have in front of me. Then I look around trying to find my brother Riderand i see him sitting down with one of the club bunnies only wearing a thong on his lap. And beside him is Reaper and his old lady Rose. They all look up to me and I stop at their table. I take a deep breath before talking to them.

"Hi guys, Rider i need to have an important conversation with you right now could be please go to the office" does words took a lot for me to get them out. When I said that Reaper and Rose just looked at me like I was not welcome there.

" Hi sis, sure we could use Reaper's office to talk'' he looked shocked from months not having been going to the club where I was standing there.

While we walked to the office I felt like someone was staring at me but I decided not to look at who it was. But I have a feeling it was Reaper staring at us. My brother closed the office door while we walked inside. I am trying to figure out how he is going to react when I tell him my decision. Of course he will take iit bad just like our feather took when I told him this morning but I made him promise not to tell anybody about it.

"Rider, I have made a decision I am leaving town for good" I Could see the shock on his face and he dropped on the floor the beer he had in his hand.

"What do you mean you're leaving", he said with his angry voice.

" I have applied for a job few states away from here not just that but I like to go to college to get become a ER nurse and i want to a fresh start far away from this town" i could see he look confused but also he seem hurt because I wanted to start a new life far away from here.

" Are you leaving because Reaper got an old lady? We all know how you feel about him and I know since we were kids you were in love with him. But I thought it was just a teenage crush." You could tell he was hurt because I was making the decision to leave because of his best friend.

" What you mean everyone knew i had a crush on Reaper'' i said in a shock voice and surprises

"Amalia you think nobody noticed the way you always look at him and he knows how you feel for him" he was yelling at this point and all i see is him punching the wall and throwing a lamp that was on the desk to the wall. In a matter of minutes the door to the office opens.

"What is going on here?" I was not expecting him to come inside the office at this moment. I was too shocked to answer the question when Rider told him what was going on.

" Amalia just told me she is leaving town because she got a better job and she is attending college to become a doctor. She said she wants to start a new life away from this town which means away from the club" I could see Reapers face some emotions passing through but he put his scold face back on.

" Is the true Amalia you leaving ?" He ignored what my brother just told him and the reason why I was leaving. I was having a hard time finding my voice and put a brave face to answer him.

Before answering him I looked right to his face and said " yes i am leaving and tonight is my last night in town and in the club. I just said bye to Rider and told him I was moving away. And before you guys said anything I already told dad and Mack about my plans."

They both look shocked that dad and Mack knew about it and they didn't tell them anything about it. I could see their faces hurt and other emotions.
