The next day after all the fun the other day it was thursday. head master Henry Henderson was talking abouut elegance as usual and then he brought in a veru nerv racking topic...
Headmaster: Alright! listen up children! you know the halloween ball tomorrow correct?
Students: yes?
Headmaster: i have assigned students all into partners as you will not only learn how to dance together but also get to know each other. the frinedship in this academy must increase and if you get along perfectly both will be awarded 2 stellas. this is basicly saying that you will be constantly together apart from going home. this will proceed for the rest of the year until april 21st next year. DO YOU ALL UNDERSTAND!?
students: Yes headmaster!
Headmaster: ok. so here are the partners. Becky with abby, christan with rosa....
the headmaster goes on and on without calling either damian or anya's name
ANYA POV
Why isn't Anya's name getting called? second son hasen't been called either...hmm-
Headmaster: Finally the last partners are Damian and Anya!
Girl 1: Watch him closely...
Girl 2: ok.
Girl 3: this isn't very polite you know. what if we get in trou-
Girl 1: Nothing will happen silly!
DAMIAN POV
Are you serious!? whatever. i guess we will have to practice dancing later and stuff
Anya: Mr. Headmaster?
Headmaster: *sigh* yes Anya..?
Anya: what type of dance will we be learning?
Headmaster: Good qustion Anya! we will be learning a slow dance and at the end free dancing.
Anya: what is it like to "free" dance?
Headmaster: when free dancing you don't need to dance in that certain way, you just dance in any way you want but the first part of the dance will be slow dancing
Anya: can you free dance slowly then?
Headmaster: No anya. to slow dance is- ah well mad'am Hillary will teach you about slow dancing "elegantly" today. first EVERYONE GET INTO YOUR PARTNERS NOW!
Everyone gathers with their partners including Damian and Anya. at first they we very silent and the headmaster could not understand it but eventully after a good 10 minutes of silence between them they finally talked, just as the headmaster was about to walk over to then to talk.
Anya: Hey second son?
Damian: Peasant you don't have to call me second son you can just call me Lo- I mean Damian.
Anya: Ok! then in that case you can call me Anya!
Damian: O-ok.
As they slowly started to talk a bit more they started to notice how much they actually had in common other that from being in different families and riches. the headmaster eventully decied they were getting along so he stopped heading over to them and continued reading while everyone socialized for a while.
