. . .

Killua explained his plan to the rest of his team, and they all decided it was a god idea. The only problem was that Killuas Grimoire was in the corner of the room, A.K.A. outside of the Smoky prison. Without my Grimoire for cover up, I won't be able to use any of my powerful techniques. It'll set us back a little, but they will understand. ... Hopefully. Killua prayed.

Luckily, they did. Apparently not having your Grimoire on hand weakens your power here anyway, so he didn't have to explain anything.

"All right everybody, get into your positions!" Killua whisper-shouted.

"Right!" They responded.

They got ready, Killua and Luck in the front and Asta and Noelle in the back.

"Now!" Killua told them.

Lyck and Killua started blindly shooting into the black smoky abyss. They heard the man laugh and say that their attacks wouldn't work, but Killua just smirked. His plan was going smoothly. They were going to distract him with random shots of lightning, and when the diamond mage least expected it, Noelle was going to launch Asta toward the man, using his sword to break through the smoke.

In Killua's eyes, it was the perfect plan for their situation. Asta would cut the magic and try to land a hit on the mage, and even if it didn't work, if Asta couldn't even nick the man, it would still have created an escape route for the rest of them.

Although, hopefully that wouldn't happen. Killua pulled his hand back and gave Noelle a thumbs up. Noelle nodded back, and started preparing her spell. Killua knew it would take her a little longer, so he went back to shooting.

He noticed That Noelle was having a hard time. "Luck! Cover me!" Killua ran over to Noelle and stood behind her, guiding her hands into the correct position.

"Alright. I'm good now," she reassured him.

"Good, because I was about to leave anyway." Killua responded. He was fully aware that Noelle was glaring daggers at his back. Killua cat smirked. Noelle rolled her eyes and blasted Asta at the wall.

Asta flew towards the smoke and pulled out his sword. He cut it down and managed to launch a surprise attack on the diamond mage. Everyone else left the prison, and Killua even managed to grab his Grimoire and slip it back into his belt.

"Guys! We have to get on the move!" Killua shouted at the others. I make a pretty good leader. Just then Noelle ran into his back. Killua clenched his fists and pressed his mouth into a thin line. ... Many that won't be such a good idea. For their sake.

Killua decided to brush it off for now, they had more important things to do.

"Hey Luck, I heard that you're really good at sensing Mana. Is there any strong presences nearby?" Killua asked.

Luck quickly closed his eyes and held still for a minute, and when he looked up the expression on his fence was urgent.

"Yes. There appears to be a fight going on to our left, and I sense Golden Dawn knights. They seem to be in trouble, we have to go now!" Luck informed them.

Killua grunted, signaling that he understood. He began running in the direction of the fight. Killua really didn't care for the lives of the other magic knights, but it would ruin his reputation with Gon. He would never forgive Killua if he let them suffer.

When he entered the room he saw Yuno about to be crushed by a giant sword. Killua hung back and gave Asta a boost, allowing him to soar through the sky and split the sword in half. Killua debated on whether he should help... or go find a way into the treasure room. They seem to have this covered. Plus, more gold for me!

Killua nodded his head, choosing the later option. He activated Zetsu and started slowly creeping towards the giant metal doors. Killua knew he couldn't just blast them down, it would give him away immediately. He instead opted for trying to find a small opening, Killua was fairly confident that his small frame could fit through a vent. All he had to do was find one.

Killua walked up to the door and turned to his right. If I walk along the side of the entrance, there's bound to be some type of opening. Killua thought. He tracked to the end of the wall and started going the opposite direction. Then, he saw it. Killua had to give credit to the people who designed this building, it was very well put together. If he hadn't been actually looking for another way into the treasure room he wouldn't have noticed it.

A small vent was about 85 meters away from the big door, hidden by a lace piece of stone. The rock was cut to match the pattern of the wall, but Killua could sense the power coming from inside. He looked behind his shoulder to see if anyone was watching, and when he was sure no one was he pulled the stone out from its place and slipped inside.

When Killua emerged from the small tunnel he was shocked. Piles upon piles of sparkly jewels and shining pieces of gold lined to walls. There were priceless pots and ancient scrolls, all just sitting there! But the thing that shocked him most was the amount of aura radiating off of the various objects.

Killua stood up and started walking to the center of the room. He looked to his side and saw loads of solid gold jewelry. He smirked and pulled out his coin pouch. After all, he didn't just sneak in here for nothing, he wanted to regain the riches he once had. Of course, it wouldn't buy him a way back to York New, but it was good enough for his shopping spree desires.

Killua quietly hummed to himself as he filled the sack, completely ignoring the crashes and calls for his help coming from outside. They'll figure out a way to beat him eventually, and for now I can just enjoy myself. He thought. Killua decided to pass time by building himself a throne out of the gold and jewels.

He sat upon his throne and looked down at his imaginary subjects. Just then the comotion stopped outside. He waited for them, looking around for anything else that peaked his interest. Killua looked towards the door to see the tip of Asta's blade pierce the door, slicing all the way to the bottom and create a hole big enough for them to enter.

"KILLUA HOW COULD YOU JUST LEAVE US?!" Noelle shouted, "WE COULD HAVE USED A LITTLE EXTRA HELP."

Killua shrugged, "You seemed to have it covered." He told her.

"U-uh," Noelle stuttered, "well. We were out there risking our lives, and you were in here building a THRONE out of GOLD!!!"

"Mhm, mhm, your point?" Killua picked up a spare coin off the top of a stack, and was now fiddling with it in his hands.

"Ugh!" Noelle screams in Frustration. She stomped away, leaving Killua smirking on his golden chair.

"Anyway, what did you guys do with the mage you were fighting?" Killua asks. Surely they have enough sense as to not bring him in here... right?

"Hm? Oh! That guy! Well, we brought him in here of course!" Asta hummed happily. Killua stared dumbstruck at him. How can someone be so stupid! He thought. I at least thought one of those Golden dawn guys would have talked some sense into him. But no. They still brought him here.

"Well, is he at least tied up?"

"We didn't have any rope."

"WHAT?!?!" Killua roars. He was livid at this point. He didn't even care. Let them die for god's sake!

"Whatever, just make sure that he doesn't wake up." Killua responded. He realized that he COULD tie him up with his Yoyos, but then he wouldn't be able to use them.

"Okay guys, as long as there's still enough treasure for Yami, feel free to take as much as you like!" Killua said. I know I will.

. . .
