Dinner (3)

Over the last week me and dom have spent almost every living moment together, being with him; just felt right.

Whenever I'm around him I feel like I could just jump up and down and giggle from the butterflies in my stomach. He made all my worries and overthinking go away.

But, I'm worried. Worried that this is just a honeymoon phase and it will be over in the click of a finger. And all there will be is arguments and arguments and distancing between us. But I've got to keep my mind off that! Just focus on the positives, right?

Tonight is Rey's birthday dinner, I went out with Aalyah and Dominik to buy rey a gift. But we had to call the mall to make sure it was only open for us as we don't want press to think dominik is all good with his family. We brought him a printed picture of the whole family, including my family seeing as we were all so close. We had also got him a customised mask with Guerrero written on the back in memory of my dad.

When I opened the box to have a peep at the mask, I could only think about my dad and all the memories we had together when I was younger. The way he would make me laugh, was magical. Dominik hugged me to make sure I was okay, then I realised something. Dom could make me laugh and feel safe in the exact way my dad could. Knowing that made me fall more in love with him. Maybe he was my soul mate after all?

Aalyah and Dom dropped me home so I could get ready,
"I'll pick you up at 9? Is that okay, my love?" Dominik asked.

"Sounds good. I will see you then" I kissed his cheek, and began turning around to open my door. But he grabbed me and kissed me properly, on the lips.

"I've gotta get a proper kiss from my girl!!" He laughed.

I hugged him and opened my door, I waved goodbye back to Aalyah and closed the door behind me.

I knew what I was going to wear and so I layed it out on my bed. I'm going to wear a dark purple dress with some black high heels. And over the top of the dress I have a blazer that has writing on the pockets, Left pocket said Eddie and Right said Guerrero. I also added a bracelet that Rey gave me when I was 12. It had a charm of an old mask of his and a few diamond beads.

I hopped into the shower and did my whatsoevers. I dried my hair and did my makeup before getting changed. When I was finished I posted on my close friends Instagram story with a photo of me standing in the mirror.

--20 minutes later--

I heard honking outside so I grabbed a black clutch bag and put it over my shoulder. I made sure I had everything and left to get in the car with dom.

"Hey, beautiful." He said almost immediately before reaching over to kiss me.

"Hey, handsome" I winked at him and although he was the one who said something first he still went a bright shade of red.

"You do look amazing though, Dom." I smiled at him.

He put his hand on my thigh as he started driving, he quickly turned to me and said,

"Thank you, gorgeous. So do you." He quickly darted him eyes back to the road and concentrated on that.

"You've got his gift right?" I asked him.

"I knew I would most likely forget it, so I told Aalyah to bring it." He said with a slight chuckle.

"Of course, smart move." I chuckled too.

After a bit more driving, we arrived at this super fancy and private restaurant. We saw servers waiting at the entrance for us.

"Oh god, are they waiting for us...." I sighed "Embarrassing."
