I woke up excited about my 20th birthday. Thinking about how my brother will go overboard with the decorations and especially the 4 story cake. But when I got downstairs, it looked like I walked into my little sisters room. A mess, bland and just normal. Also my sister looks like this.

She acts emo but not in a bad way. Just wears emo clothes and has such a bland room. I asked, "Where are all the decorations?" My dad said, "Decorations for what?" I said, "Are you kidding me?" And my dad said, "No generally what do you mean?" I sighed, "It's my birthday!" My dad looked at me shocked. He said, "Omg sweetie I forgot I'm so sorry." I puffed, "What about noah, didn't he set up everything?" My dad said, "He was going to do it last minute but he fell asleep, I totally forgot sweetie I'm so sorry." I felt a tear drop down my face and I stormed off.
I jumped into my bed crying. Why did they forget? Why didn't I just move out earlier? This day was a disaster, I texted my bestfriend Leo about what happened and he said he would come over. After 10 minutes I heard a knock on the door, I ran downstairs to bring him with me then the ground shook!
I said, "What's going on?" And my dad said, "NASA was doing a test with this 12 foot lazer on the Sun but this wasn't supposed to happen." There was a siren going off and a voice saying, "Evacuate immediately! Get to anything for protection like bunkers or underground bases the Sun is going to explode!"
We had a basement but it was very creepy and usually dark, it looked big but in reality was small.
