you wake up to the feeling of chris moving around. you look over to see him sprawled out with one leg hanging off the bed. you laugh to yourself seeing him about to fall off the bed, "chris? you're about to fall off the bed." you say softly while trying to help him back onto the bed. chris lets out a small groan before rolling over to face you.
"good morning, pretty boy." you say while admiring his face.
"morning." he mumbles, his eyes squinting at the light from the window.
"come here." he says sleepily as he motions for you to come closer, you move closer to him, and he lays his head on your chest.
"you're so clingy this morning." you say jokingly as you run your fingers through his hair, instead of responding he smiles and nuzzles his face into your neck.
you both lie there for about twenty minutes before he moves his face out of your neck and heads to the bathroom, he returns moments later and climbs back into bed.
"you wanna watch something?" he asks while putting his arm around your shoulder.
"omg yes can we finish watching the vampire diaries?" you ask with a smile.
"of course, i'll go get some snacks and you can go ahead and turn it on." he says as he gets up and heads to the kitchen.
you get up to go use the bathroom, and soon you realize that you've started your period.
you get out everything that you need before returning to your shared room with chris.
"hey, chris?" you call out,
"what?" he responds,
"do you know where my heating pad is?" you shout loud enough so he could hear you from the kitchen.
"yes it's out here, i'll get it for you in just a second, baby!"
you lay down on the bed, waiting for him to come back upstairs. after a couple minutes, chris comes back and sets the snacks on the bed before plugging your heating pad into the wall for you.
"there you go." he says gently,
"thank you, chris. you're literally a life saver." you reply with a slight smile.
chris sits next to you and presses play on the show. you both lie back against the headboard and he rests his hand on your thigh.
