New job

I'm alive after everything that has happened I'm alive. But my sister is dead same with my mother. The people in this town hate me they think I'm a monster. I need to leave before they do something. Sue is the only one who doesn't hate me in this town. In fact that's where I was hiding in her basement. "Sue the town will have me killed" I said. "I know Clara that's why I found this" she said holding up a news paper that had a job circled. It's was a babysitting job in some town named collinsport. "It's your ticket out of here" she said. I looked up at her "thank you sue good luck on your baby" I said. She nodded and helped me get to the bus stop.

Finally I made it to collinsport and nobody here new about what I did. I got off the bus and walked towards the town. I walked towards the Collins family cannery. A women was standing there looking very upset. I walked over to her "excuse me ma'am but are you Elizabeth collins" I asked. She turned to me "yes I am who are you" she asked. "Um well I'm Clara white and I saw your newspaper AD" I said. She looked down "oh I'm sorry but someone already filled that job" she said. My heart dropped no I can't go back "very well I sorry to have bothered you ma'am" I said then started to walk away. Before I could leave I heard a man speak up "Elizabeth surely there is another job we could find for this young lady" he said. I turned round and saw a very very pale man holding an umbrella. She turned to him then back at me "how are you at math and accounting" she asked. "Um I'm ok with math but I don't really know much about accounting ma'am" I said.

She looked in thought "you could be our assistant we need a little help with starting the cannery back up" she said. Relief filled my heart "thank you ma'am and sir" I said. "While you work with us you can also stay with us there is plenty of room at the mansion" the man said. "I'm sorry if I'm being rude but what is your name sir" I asked. He turned to me forgive me my lady I'm Barnabas Collins" he said. "Well I thank you for the job mr and ms collins" I said. "Willie take us back home" mr collins said as an older man stepped out and got in the car. Mr collins held the door open for me "oh thank you" I said getting in.
