Unusual Encounter

   Hello, I'm a 16 years old female and this is my story of how I have no lovers nor crushes, this begin to where me and my best friend are chatting in the cafeteria.
At the cafeteria, we had our lunches, talking and sometimes gossip as normal and usual.
   "Hey Andeline, do you have any crushes or any secret lovers?" My best friend, Elsher asked. It was very unusual for her to ask something like this as she knows I'm not into any relationship or romantic matters.
    "No, I don't. Why?" I replied in a curious tone, not knowing my best friend would ask something like this.
   
    She looked at me with an weird? look. She then snapped out of it
  "Oh nothing, I was just curious!" She replied.
   I let out a soft chuckle and continued eating my sandwich.
   "Hey, did you know there's a new boy coming to our school in next Wednesday?" Elsher asked.
  I got quiet for a moment and turned my head towards her.
"No, What's his name?" I asked curiously.
   "I believe his name is Marco, I'm not quite sure but his reaaaally handsome!" Elsher says teasingly
 
    Of course, I didn't care of what she said either the boy is handsome or not. I just continue eating my lunch ignoring her, I then thought of something. How handsome can he be?

   The bell ringed, I got up from my seat and went towards my locker. I then grab my stuffs and went to my classroom.
   "Hey Andeline!" Elsher waved at me, signing me to sit next to her. I walked towards her and put my stuffs down at the beside seat no one was sitting in. I saw her writing some stuffs on her diary.
  "What are you writing?" I asked her.
  "Oh nothing, just usual daily routine." She replied while writing on her diary, she doesn't seem to be writing "Usual Daily Routine". It seems like she's writing about, an boy? Strange. Didn't know she was an simp for an boy.
   Class was over, it was really boring. It was finally time to go home, as usual I walked to the ice cream shop with Elsher to get some popsicles. I caught her texting someone over her phone. I wonder who that can be?
   "Who's that?" I asked with an teasingly voice
   "My boyfriend," She replied while smiling at me.
    Her.. what friend? She had a boyfriend all along? I felt like a betrayed victim to have a best friend who is in a relationship with someone while I'm single as  A Lone Wolf.

  "Since when did YOU have a boyfriend?" I asked her curiously, wanting answers desperately because she never told me she had a boyfriend before!
  "Oh please, I didn't told you because I know you will be upset as you are single as a Pringle. But I had been in a relationship with him since two weeks ago." She replied
  Excuse me, me? Being upset because I'm single as a Pringle? No way! I would be upset because she didn't told me she had a little Birdy lovy.

  "Why didn't you tell me sooner? I would've done a little celebration of you finally getting a boyfriend after 2 years of being single." I replied while laughing. She seems to be pretty mad.

  "Oh shut up! At least I've got a boyfriend." She replied with an anger and annoyed tone.
  Jeez, she was being bete noire.
"I was just joking?" I said while crossing my arms.
 
  We got to the ice cream shop, as usual she payed for my ice cream because she was basically richer than me. I had an chocolate mixed vanilla sundae and she got an strawberry milkshake.
  I ate my chocolate mixed vanilla sundae while she drank her strawberry milkshake while scrolling on her phone.

   "Look at this boy! Isn't he handsome?" She asked showing me a picture. I rolled my eyes because I didn't care of how handsome or cute the boy is.
 
"Oh come on, just look at the picture!" She told me as she shoke my arm.
"Alright, alright. Fine! I'll look at it" I said and looked at the picture,

  Meh, the boy was decent. Not really my type.
"Pft, him?" I let out a small chuckles and Elsher looked at me with an annoyed look.
    "Why don't you just ask a boy out already?" She asked with an annoyed tone.
   I can tell she was annoyed since I never talked to any boys and boys never talked to me, even if they did I would just walk off like no boy approached me. Alot of boys and girls shower me with compliments. I usually replies "Thank you" to girls and just smiles to boys.
