Genshin Impact ~one shots~

Zhongli has been off on commissions for the day and so the house has been very lonely and quiet. You stay home most of the time and take care of the house chores and running errands. You do go on commissions but today you were given the time off.

" There's my good boy " You say petting your dog.

You decide to head out to the market to get the rest of the stuff you needed for dinner and take the dog with you. Head out with your dog  you make your way to market. It was a beautiful day out in Liyue and the streets weren't very busy today. The guards seemed very relaxed today which made you very relaxed. You're walking the streets and make it to the Second Life market stand to buy some ingredients. You get everything you need and head back home.

                                                                     
~Later that day~

While you were working on dinner you heard the front door open. Zhongli finally came home from his commission. You continue making dinner waiting for him. He walks in with a bouquet of flowers. Not understanding why you just stare at him with a confused smile on your face.

"What are these for?" You look at him puzzled.
"What's wrong? Can I not get my pretty baby flower for no reason?"
"I'm not complaining, I'm just wondering?" You say going to find a vase to put them in.
" Well I just felt like getting you some flowers." While getting the  bouquet ready for the vase

You get the vase down and put the flowers in the vase. Setting them on the table and head back to the stove you continue making dinner. As you were over the stove working on stuff Zhongli came from beside and hid his face in the crook of your neck and just stood there with you, swaying back and forth humming a song. It was very peaceful there in the moment, it was as if time just stopped and it was just you two moving back and forth.

"Zhongli, you should go and wash for din-" You started when he held you tight
"Someone is being clingy tonight." You say ruffling his hair and kissing him.
"If you wash and eat quicker we can go and cuddle." Kissing him and pushing him off to the bedroom and heading back to the kitchen to get dinner on the table.

He walks out to see you waiting for him at the table. Sitting down at the table you two sit and talk about each other's day. You ask him how his commissions went and he tells you everything that happened from the other travelers he came across and helps with the types of "dumb" commissions he was put on.

You guys finish dinner, washing your dishes and head to the bedroom to get ready for bed. It is around 12:40 am and you two we're tired. Get in bed and cuddle the night away holding each other in your arms and bring comfort to one another . A little before you guys fall asleep it starts to rain which brought even more peace in the room as you two drifted away to the sound of the rain, Zhongli's heartbeat and him humming and falling asleep .
