"Paige Payne you have twenty minutes until you need to leave for London university!" My slightly flustered mother screams "Mom hush she's almost ready." I hear my older brother, Liam Yells back. I sigh and turn off my hair dryer. I add foundation and blush to add colour.
Today will be my first official day at London university. I'm majoring in health and human science. Brooke my older sister went there and Liam goes there now. I wanted to follow there footsteps. Also my parents met there when they were in collage.
I pull on my baby blue skinny jeans and my infinity love flow shirt. As I walk out of of the bathroom I run into a teary eyed twelve year old Blair. My little sister quickly pulled me into a hug
"Paige, do you have to go -sob- I'm going to miss you! Now it's just -sob- it's just me!" She cries into my chest. I fight back the tears and gently tug her off.
"I know sis, But listen to me. You'll be fine you got mom and dad and bella" I say referring to our dog Bella "and I'll come back with Liam when I can. Right now you need to focus on school and cheering. I love you." I tell her while playing with her long black hair.
"Okay I love you to. and thanks for being there for me you better text me when you can!" She tells tickling my sides. I gasp grabbing her hands and tugging them off my stomach
"Stop -gasp- stop please I will-gasp- I will text you when I can!"
She laughs but stops tickling me. She walks into the room we share and comes back out holding my black vans. I laugh because she knows me so well.
"Thanks girl!" I tell her grabbing my shoes out of her hand. She flashes me a smile and heads back into our room. Liam walks out of his room that's right beside ours.
"Hey where's your suitcase? I'll go put them in my car." He asked. My tall brother is defiantly the best brother in the world. He's super protective of Blair and I and it's slightly annoying. But he super nice an crazy and funny. We love him. He defiantly could beat someone's face in or something.
"On the couch thanks!" I tell him. He then smiles his perfect smile and walks to the living room. I hear him shuffling around and then here the front door shut
I decide to go say goodbye to mom an dad. Liam is driving me to campus and showing me around. So they won't be with us. I walk into the living room an the first thing I see is my dad, Yes my dad crying. I cringe but walk to him, engulfing him up into a hug. He wipes his tears and pulls out of our hug.
"Paigey I'm so happy for you. I love you dearly and I hope you'll do me proud and succeed" he urges. Even when he is crying he is pushing me to do good. It gets annoying bit I know he only what's best for me and Liam. Next is mom
"Mom is so sweet and caring she holds her tears back and hugs me. Not saying anything. We stand for what fells like eternity but was only like five minutes this way. Liam walk is and coughs getting moms attention.
"You stay safe you here? Do your work, study. Exercise and eat healthy, okay! I love you."
I just nod my head not trusting my voice. I don't cry in front of prople. It shows weakness and I'm not week. When I was in year 5 I got bullied by someone in their seventh year. he called me many names and bullied me mentally and physically l. Then I met Jordan. My best friend she helped me and kept me from falling apart. She made me strong. Yes she is loud and obnoxious and a teen forever but I love her.
Liam an I say our last goodbyes. Blair started crying again and dad disappears. Mom walks is out. Liam ad I head to his car. In going to miss this. My childhood home, I will miss cooking with Blair and sleepovers with Jordan. I don't want to forget anything so I scan the yard intently. I finally sit in the seat and Liam pulls out into the road.
"You okay?" Liam asks me nervously glancing at me and then back at the road again
"No not really, I'm going to miss it all you know?" I hold back the tears. only two people has ever seen me cry and that would be Liam and Jordan.
"Yeah when I first started collage all I could do was think about you and Blair. You were still in highschool an Blair was starting her forth year!" He explains
"Your always worried about us" I roll my eyes "so overprotective but I love it!" I quickly add
"Uh-huh you better" he jokes. The whole three hour drive is like this. Us joking and bantering back ad forth. That Is until we pull in front of what I'm guessing is my form rooms. And all the nerves come back.
Liam stops the car after he parks and he hops out first. Then after a while I chill down enough to get out. I walk to the trunk of the car and help him with my suitcases. He grabbing one and I grabbing the other. He shuts the trunk and leads the way to the office building.
When we get to the office they tell me my dorm number. dorm B17. Liam then leads the way again and he once and a while looks back to check on me. I know he's worried about me, because so an I.
"Here it is sis do you want me to help you unpack?" He questions
"If you want to I don't care." I shrug. I take the keys out of his hands and unlock my for. I take a step back when I see all the black on the other girls side. The Heavy meddle softly playing out of the radio.
"Um...Hey I'm Paige Payne and this is my brother Liam." I introduce us she turns around from her desk to smile at me. Holding her hand out to shake.
"I'm Olivia Clemmons nice to meet you. I hope you don't care about me picking my side. And well my decorations." She festers to her posters with a shaky laugh
"Aww I love your name so pretty, ad no I don't care! Be who you want to be." I tell the girl. She had blonde hair with blue and pink streaks in it. Her makeup is heaven and eyeliner even heaver. She is wearing "revealing" dress and only the boobs and arse is covered. I look over to Liam and his expression says she's scary change dorms! I mouth "I'll be fine" an he rolls his eyes.
"Hey my brother is going to help me pack and he'll leave Kay?" I explain to Olivia
"Oh yeah I don't care I'm just leaving for a tho sick ass frat party! You should come!" She says grabbing my hands in attempt to make me dance.
"Oh no thanks I'll stay here and unpack with Liam!" I say pointing at him with my thumb.
"Aww your so boring but cool bye then!" She says grabbing the doorknob
"You can play my plays taipan or ex box if you want to!" She offers
"Sweeeeet" Liam replies causing me to roll my eyes. I say thanks and she leaves. We unpack my stuff an sit down to play video games as this was how my night consisted of. My first day finally over.
