I rolled my car onto the track giving it an occasional rev making the crowd around me pipe up. Kirra rolled up beside me throwing a durry out the window and we dapped each other up and focused on the track.

I looked to my left and freya was gone? What the hell was she doing.

I poked my head out the window and she had climbed out of her car and was picking up bud that she had dropped under her seat.

"Freya!" I yelled out my window.

Her head popped up looking around lost before making eye contact with me.

"Get in the car!" I yelled through clenched teeth.

She was an annoying bitch but I still loved her.

I saw a flash of pink in the mirror and she rolled up beside Kirra and I.

The Mexican mans voice on the microphone echoed through the stadium.

"Ladies and gentleman, take a seat! Not much longer now" the thick man threw his sombrero into the swarm of people and there was panic for seats in the crowd.

Me, Kirra and Freya were parked on the inner side of the track. Which left room for 4 other.

I saw a streak of black and white in my mirror and rolled my eyes.

"I race dirty, think you can take me?" Tom said licking his lip ring seductively.

"I know I can take you" I said smirking at him. He knew what I really meant.

Bill pulled up next to him and gave me an excited smile showing his teeth. It was a real smile this time, like he was genuinely happy. Bill wasn't good, but he was better than Tom. He was sweet at heart but pretended he was hard because that's what was expected out of him. He killed, he beat people, he cut off fingers and ears. Not because he wanted too, but because he had too. It hurt me a little to be honest.

"Heyy Tia" he waved at me through me and Toms window.

"Hey Bill" I said inside of a sigh with a smile.

"I'm gonna beat my brother this time you know!" He yelled.

"I hope you do Bill" I said amused with how he was talking to me. Like we were friends. I wouldn't mind being aquaintenced with Bill, but if I was friends with him I had to be friends with his brother, and that wasn't going to happen. Tom was a pig and I wasn't going to be anywhere near him.

"But you know your not getting around me right?" I said to Bill raising my eyebrows.

"Oh we'll just have to see about that!" He said laughing before a car pulled up beside him.

Bill and Tom's smiles dropped when we saw who it was.

Mateo Genshin.

Bill looked at Tom and then noticed the anger in my eyes. I whistled without looking at Freya and Kirra and I tensed up in my seat. Kirra looked through the windows and at Mateo and looked at me in fear. She knew I was mad. She knew I was thinking about everything he did. Everything he took from us.

Freya was busy talking to one of Tom's gang members, Georg. I couldn't tell if they were flirting or fighting.

"Calm Tia it's okay" she tried to calm me like Freya did. My hands gripped the side of my car door and my nails dug into the palm of my hand. I felt my leg start jumping and my jaw clicked.

Tom and Bill's eyes were on me. They noticed how mad I was. They would be asking me questions about this after the race I knew it.

"Ahhh, Tia" Mateo said loudly almost laughing.

"Mateo." I said angrily with an accent.

"How is your...business...at the moments, aye!?" He said and I rolled up my window to ignore him.

I could hear his laugh just as my window got to the top.

I heard footsteps coming to my other window and a young Mexican boy came to me and Kirra's window giving our car doors a knock.

"3 minutes" he said quickly running too the next cars too tell them.

I rolled up all my windows and music started playing through the track.

The fat Mexican man on the microphone started talking again.

"Racers! Listen closely. The rules are veryyy simple" his accent sounded like silk "If you win, you get to choose whoever's car you want to take home for yourself, if not, everyone has to put in and pay you a lovely chunk of MONEYYYYY!" He yelled spinning towards the screaming crowd.

"Are...You...Readyyyyy!" I revved my car angrily thinking about beating that scum Mateo. Everyone around me copied revving their cars.

"3!"

I revved.

"2!"

Kirra revved.

"1!"

Freya revved.

"GO!!"

I stepped on the accelerator and got a slight head start alongside Mateo and Tom.

My heart was racing now. I wanted Mateo's car. I wanted his money. And I was going to get it. I saw Mateo focused on the road looking nowhere but in front of him.

Tom had a massive smile on his face and looked back at Bill now and again letting out a loud laugh.

Everyone knew you had to be careful driving with Bill and Tom. They were known for causing massive crashes and killing other drivers in the race.

My tires kicked up the dirt behind me and the sound of car engines gave me a boost of energy.

Bill came up behind Tom and tapped the back of his car sliding his car around the track slightly almost crashing into Mateo. Mateo's face scrunched up in anger and he started swearing at them and his fists clenched the wheel.

Tom and Bill both looked at me, Tom was leaning forward on his steering wheel and Bill was bouncing around laughing manically, they both had a shocked and amused look on their face. I slowly smiled and laughed at myself going faster.

Those two might be assholes but damn did they know how to lighten the mood.

I placed my foot harder on the accelerator and slightly on the brakes and drifted around a corner when Georg appeared behind me in his orange car.

He came up half way beside me and tapped my car causing a dent and almost spinning me out. His face was focused. I switched to the inner corner and used it to get around the corner faster and get a jump on him.

He looked in his mirror and I saw confusion and fright on his face. I watched behind me and suddenly Freya came from the side and smashed Georg, making them both crash.

I saw his car roll before they escaped my vision. I knew Freya was fine, her car had come to a holt but hadn't rolled. We had been through worse. She's gotten shot and stabbed before, she could survive a minor crash.
