I wonder if Sofia would be happier with someone here, I mean I know she's friendly with Bill but joining a tour with nobody you know is probably hard.

"Would you like it if Hailey came?"

Sofia immediately perks up, smiling.

"Can she actually?" She asks me, with a beaming smile.

"I'm sure we can make it work, there will be enough space on the bus."

Sofia squeals in excitement, reaches over the table and kisses me on the cheek.

As she pulls back, her eyes lock directly into mine and she smiles a little.

"Thank you." She whispers.

Just then, our food arrives.

"Here you go," The waitress says, placing our food on the table, "Let me know if you need anything else." She finishes, wiping down her jeans.

Me and Sofia both smile at her, nodding our heads and she walks off.

I take a bite of my food and look back up to Sofia.

"What town are you from? We might be passing it on our way to the next tour, so we can pick up Hailey then." I say.

Sofia smiles just thinking about it.

"Beverly Hills."

"You're not a stuck up rich girl, right?" I say sarcastically, chuckling.

"Woah, you're so original, Tom." She says back, rolling her eyes.

"Tell me about your backstory." I say, intrigued.

"Well, my parents had me when they were young, a little older than us so my mother would stay home with me while my father worked, somehow they ended up successful, but now my father is always on business trips so we hardly see him." She says, sighing.

I can see a little sadness in her face when she mentions her father.

"I'm sorry about that, Sof. When was the last time you saw him?" I question softly.

"A little more than a month ago."

"Does he call?"

"No, says he doesn't have the time but he'll send some money through the post here and there."

I take this in, sitting back in the booth seat.

"That must be hard, I'm sorry to hear that." I reply, giving her a soft smile.

She looks up at me, with a gentle smile.

"It's okay." She states, picking up her burger.

As she picks it up, the sauces all fall out and spill all down her top. I let out a sudden burst of laughter, so does she.
