"KIM! KAM!" the pair heard jerry shout for the millionth time this hour. the pair stormed in angrily, shouting "WHAT, JERRY? WHAT?"
"where have you guys been?" jerry said sadly and the two walked up to his bed, trying to remain calm. kim inhaled "I know we're friends, but we've been in here nine times in the last hour."
"we've got other patients that need our help." kamden added, looking at the boy.
he seemed quite hurt, placing a hand on his chest "oh. oh I'm-- I'm sorry. I don't mean to be any trouble." he then winced, slowly lying back down while holding his injury, wincing "I just thought in my hour of need you'd uh you'd be there for me. but no no, I was wrong. I'll get it myself." he then grabbed the remote for the bed, lifting the top part of it up while practically screaming.
"fine!" kamden shouted after a moment, glaring at jerry "we'll get you some pudding."
kamden and kimberly turned on their feet, walking out the door in complete annoyance.

kamden walked back into jerrys bedroom less than twenty minutes later, seeing the boy dance with his earphones on like no one was watching. kamdens eyes widened and she closed the door, looking at kim who was across the hall "kim!"
