A NEW BEGINNING
It has been a month and half since Oakley, Sofia, and Ryan moved to Washington. They were all settling in to their new home. Ryan quickly got a job as a detective, at a local police station. He had branched off into federal bureau's as well. Sofia had started going back to school at, Lake Washington high school. She quickly found a job working at a nearby, grocery store as a cashier. Oakley on the other had was looking into Behavioral Analysis Unit's she liked. Her eyes were drawn to the BAU. As she looked more into the BAU she couldn't find any job offerings as a Supervisory Special Agent. So she was just going to show up to talk to the BAU Unit Chief.
Oakley got up at 4 am the next morning to get ready, once she was all ready she headed down stairs. At this time Ryan was also leaving for work.
"Hey, it's really early. Where do you plain on going" he asked grabbing his keys
"To get a job, as an Supervisory Special Agent" Oakley said as she grabbed her coat
"You finally found a place hiring" he asked as he started to walk out the front door. Oakley followed behind him
"Not exactly, I'm kinda just going to show up and show the BAU unit chief my profiling skills" Oakley said as she laughed getting to her car.
"Well good luck with that" Ryan said getting into his car, and leaves. Oakley got into her car and headed to the building of the BAU.
Oakley had arrived at the BAU, she wasn't nervous at all. Even though she was very young to be an agent at the BAU she had a lot of training before. Ryan would teach her all the ropes and tricks about profiling since she was 15. She was very confident she could get a job here even with out an interview.
She made her way up to where the BAU team's office was.
"Excuse me, do you know where the BAU unit chief's office is" Oakley asked the officer at the front desk.
"Yes ma'am, head to your right. You will reach a lobby with small decks with computers, there will be a staircase leading up to a second floor. His office will be the third door on your right" the office said as he pointed down the hall.
"Thank you" Oakley said as she followed his directions.
She had made her way up the stairs and to the door. She knocked three times
"Yes, come in" a man's voice said from the other side of the door. Oakley walked into the room.
"Hi, im here to get a job working with the BAU team." Oakley said Extremely confident.
The man stood up as Oakley walked in very surprised to see her.
"All job interviews are ran through me. And I haven't Started any Interviews yet" the man said in a Stern voice.
"I know, I saw that on the website" Oakley said in her sterned, confident voice.
"Than why are you here, if you saw the website" he said back at her.
"I believe I would be an excellent choice for the BAU team" she said back at this man
The man was a bit confused but liked how confident she was while she talked. The man stuck his hand out
"Aaron Hotchner, head of the BAU" he said
"Oakley Huxley, pleasure to meet you, sir" she said as she took his hand.
"Well since your here, let me take a look at your résumé" Aaron asked
"Yes sir" she said handing him her file.
Aaron looked threw her file. There was silence as he looked through her papers for 2 minutes.
"Your 22 years old, and you have no experience with Profiling." Aaron scruffs handing her back the file.
"I am be 22 but I have had experience with profiling since I was 15 years of age" she snarked back at him
"Okay than, profile me than" he said a he smirked.
Oakley took a deep breath in and looked down.
"That's what I thought" Aaron said as he turned around walking back to his desk.
"Your a 30 year old white man, you like to think your above everyone else. You take pride in your work, But because you put so much dedication into your work you don't have time at home. You are a workaholic that doesn't want to take time off. Your old school you like to do thinks by the books. " Oakley went on as Aaron stopped and turned around to look at her. He froze as everything she said was true catching every detail about him. As Oakley stop he was speechless. He just looked at her with a very surprised face
"Should I continue" Oakley asked with a smirk on her face.
"Your good, welcome to the team Miss Huxley" Aaron said as he walked back over to her taking her file and shaking her hand.
"Thank you sir, you won't regret this" she said with a smile on her face.
"Oh I bet I won't" Aaron said as he lead Oakley out the door.
Aaron had shown Oakley around the offices and brought her to her desk.
"This is where your station is, your personal work space" he said to her as she got comfortable.
As Aaron was getting Oakley settled in to her new work space Emily and Jj had made there way into work stopping behind Aaron.
"Who is this" Jj asked after Aaron finished.
"This is Oakley, are new Supervisory Special Agent. She will be joining us" Aaron said
"I'm Jj and this is Emily" Jj said as Emily stuck out her hand.
"Nice to meet you both" Oakley said as she took Emily's hand.
"Well, let's get back to work, I will call everyone up to the conference room when we have a case." Aaron said as he walked off.
"Welcome to the team Oakley" Emily said as she put her hand on her shoulder, than walking off with Jj. Oakley smiled at both of them know she would already love it here.

It was around 12 pm when Hotch called for a meeting, Oakley made her way to the meeting room. When she go there all eyes were on her when she walked through the doors. Her eyes were drawn to this boy, that looked to be about her age.
"This is Oakley, she has joined our team and will be traveling with us on this case" Aaron said as Oakley took a seat across from the boy that looked about her age.
"There have been three girls that have been murdered around the ages of 17 to 20 they were each found about a mile from each other in the hills of hollowed" hotch said as he went on describing the case.
"We're the victims raped or sexually assaulted in any way" the boy said, he was memorized by this case. Oakley had noticed he was so concentrated like he was playing a video game.
"That's what we're going to determine" Hotch replied.
After the team talked about the case for about 20 minutes going over everything. After they finished discussing the case. Hotch went to walk out of the room as well as everyone else.
"Wheels up in 20" Hotch said making his way back to his office. Emily and Jj walked off. Gideon followed hotch, and Oakley and the two other boys made there way into the break room.
The young boy was making himself coffee. While the older gentleman walked over to the table you were sitting at.
"Hey newbie, I'm Derek" the handsome gentleman said. Before Oakley could answer him the boy spoke.
"Don't listen to him, he's always like that" the boy said still making his coffee.
"Says the one who's socially awkward" Derek replied.
"Well it's nice to meet you both" Oakley laughed as she went back to her computer.
"What are you doing on there anyway" Derek asked. At this point the boy finished making his coffee and sat down at the table with Oakley and Derek.
"Looking deeper into this case" she said as she stared into her computer.
"You got another person like you working here" Derek said to the boy as he hit him in a joking way.
"Like what" Oakley asked as she looked up from her computer.
"Like a kid working here" Derek said
"Yeah yeah, I may be young but profiling skills kick ass" Oakley says looking back her computer.
"Found it" Oakley said turn the computer to them.
"There have been cases similar to this case dating back all the way to 1985" Oakley says very proud of herself.
"This could mean that our unsub is in his 30s to 40s " the boy said
"And in this case this would make our unsub a male" Oakley said. Her phone started to ring.
"Sorry I have to take this" she said as she got up and walked out. The boys eyes followed her as she left the room.
"Looks like someone in love" Derek said get up whispering in the boys ear
"What! No I'm not " the boy snapped back
"Whatever you say Reid" Derek said laughing leaving the room.
"I am not" Spencer said to himself as he sat there.
Oakley came back into the room grabbing her laptop.
"Sorry I didn't get your name" she said
"Reid, Spencer Reid" he said to her standing up
"Well wheels are going up now Spence" she said turning around walking out the door.
Spencer looked a bit confused at hearing the name spence, but followed anyway.

Gotta love Oakley for saying that to hotch. She really put him in his place. Derek still teasing Spencer I see. I can't wait for you to find out what happens as the story goes along.
