The feeling of waiting anxiously in a hospital would be one that would stick with Sidney forever, haunt her even. Both her and Gale carried the heavy weight of Dewey's death on their backs, overwhelming feelings of regret, anger, grief, sadness and guilt would stay with them for many years to come.

The slow yet rapid sound of Bea's pulse monitor kept both the women awake as they sat in two blue chairs beside her bed. Bea had been in surgery for over six hours, between Amber and R*chie, both had managed to hit the girl's intestine and liver, as well as leaving significant wounds in other parts of her abdomen and shoulder. Her skin was no longer fair and her cheeks were no longer tinted with rose, instead, her body was now a mixture of blue, purple and yellow, with plenty of stitched-up stab wounds and her face as white as a ghost.

"She's strong, you know" Gale softly spoke as her eyes wandered towards Sid.

"That's what scares me" the woman sadly replied.

Slowly, Bea's eyelids started to flutter, bright lights slowly started to pierce her eyes, white noise filling her ears.

Eventually, her eyelids revealed the ocean blue, but not as normal. They were glossy, and half open, tired and worn out.

"Heyy" Sid softly and quietly spoke, slightly dragging out the 'y'.

"Huh? I'm alive?" The teen winced as she whispered.

"Careful, kid. You're pretty battered" Gale softly said.

Bea sent the woman a smile, which was mirrored back to her. Sid placed her hand on top of Bea's, a worried yet comforting tint within her eyes.

The teen's eyes wondered towards Sid's abdomen, a bandage was concealing the woman's stomach, Gale also.

"Y-your stomach.." Bea started as she gestured towards her cousin's stomach.

Sid placed both of her soft hands on top of Bea's, she let out a light laugh in response to the young girl's worry, even though she had just scraped death.

"We're fine, just worry about you getting better" the woman said.

Silence drowned the room, the guilt began to rise over Sid, thinking she was the reason that Bea was laying on the hospital bed, having Deja Vu from the guilt she felt when Jill was involved in this in 2011, only this time Bea wasn't ghostface...well yet anyway, you can never really assume anymore.

"Are Tara and Sam okay? And Liv and the twins?" The teen questioned from the bed.

The two women shared a glimpse of eye-contact for a moment before Gale's eyes went to the floor, leaving Sid to explain what happened because Bea clearly couldn't remember.

"Sam is with Tara, she's getting stitches in a different hospital, the twins are back in Woodsbro getting treatment there, and they're with Martha" Sid explained.

"I can text the group chat then" the teen replied. "What about liv?" The girl questioned as her eyes were glued to her phone as she was pulling it out to message the group chat.

Silence, once again, flooded the room.

Although Bea hadn't known them for very long, she formed 'bonds' with the group, immediately getting on with all of them, maybe except for Wes.

Bea realised the situation, due to the silence in the room and her eyes arose to meet Sid's and Gale's. No words could escape the teens pink lips, just a face of sympathy and compassion.
