Love at... First Sight?

As a beginning Freshmen in high school, there was only one thing people looked forward to...Love. While I was here focused on my darling friends and most importantly my education. "Never was in love and never will be," That's what I had said before that day, the day where my life felt like a true adventure of experience. My name is Sunnie and this is my Love story.

"BEEP!BEEP!BEEP!BEEP!" (6:40AM) It was the first day of freshmen year and I wasn't too happy about it. Waking up early, harder class work, more homework, annoying idiots and of course relationships. All the things I've always hated since day one when I went to school. Two things i did look forward to: Theresa Kann and Nicole Lee. These are my two best friends that have stayed by my side, Theresa AnnabellaKann (since before Kindergarten) and Nicole (since 5th grade).

Sunnie:Damn I only have 30 minutes to get ready.

(Gets dressed and ready)

Sunnie: (Looks at watch, 7:15AM)Guess I'll skip breakfast. I should go i need to catch the bus.

I walked through the street, passing the cherry blossom tree while listening to Big Bang's comeback song "Loser." As I arrived at the Bus stop there was a guy who was really tall, had a decent yet typical asian haircut and wore the same school uniform from the school i was going to. He happened to be staring into the sky, smiling. You could see him thinking deeply about something while viewing the bright sky. I thought maybe he was just daydreaming about something wonderful. He turned and looked at me. For 3 seconds, we shared eye contact without realizing our intense stare. We turned around and faced the opposite way. I touched my face and felt my cheeks burning up. "Am I sick?" I whispered.

Joohyuk:So... I see that we're going to the same school. What's your name?

Sunnie: My name is Sunnie Keo What's Yours?

Joohyuk: That's a wonderful name, Sunnie. My name is Nam Joo Hyuk. What Grade are you in? '

Sunnie: Thank you, Joohyuk. Your name is very fancy. And well I'm actually a Freshmen.

Joohyuk: Really? Same here. Are you ready for the new school year?

Sunnie: Haha... Not really. Everything's new you know plus this school year is going to be way different than last year. Are you ready?

Joohyuk: Yeah I understand what you're saying and i feel the same way. It's a new world for us when we're in high school.

Sunnie: Right! There's gonna be a lot of drama for sure and much more work than usual.

Joohyuk: Well we just got keep up with the world.

Before I knew it I actually had a conversation with someone besides my best friends.

Joohyuk: Hey since we're going to the same school and all, i was wondering if we can be friends? I have no one I really know yet.

Sunnie: Of course! You seem like a great person, it'd be heartbreaking not to be your friend.

I felt like I went to far with my words. It was So embarrassing, but Joohyuk just seemed to smile gratefully about what I said.

Joohyuk: Hey, put your hand out.

Sunnie:Okay.

(Sunnie puts hand out and receives a small item from Joohyuk)

Sunnie: It's a Sakura Barrett. Thank you Joohyuk. You didn't need to give this to me.

Joohyuk: I wanted to give you it, I can't leave a beautiful Lady's hair to look plain.

At that moment i felt something I have never felt before in my life. I just couldn't believe he called me beautiful and a lady. This feeling I had was so warm. It felt like I never wanted to separate from him. What am I feeling?

Sunnie: How come you have this anyway?

Joohyuk: Magic! (Laughs)

The School Bus arrives. Joohyuk and I got on the bus and was on our way to school.
