Some Differences

Vidcon is different from Twitchcon. Dream didn't expect it to be so different though.

One very cause of the difference is his privacy. Last year, in San Diego for Twitchcon he had just recently face revealed.

Everyone knew what he looked like so he was learning to be a more public figure.

Now, as he's leaving Vidcon in Anaheim his face is covered by a mask.

Not the sorta shitty one he used to have, but a specially designed one just for him.

Another difference is his and George's relationship.

He used to just have a crush on George and vice versa. They just liked each other, nothing more. However, now, they are actually dating.

Most of their friends know about their relationship but publicly, they are best friends. Or try to pretend they aren't anything more.

The thing with now being in an established relationship is now they have to be even more careful with what they say or do around each other. They obviously used to be careless; but now all of a sudden, they want to make sure no one can catch on.

The last time they were in California they were kind of touchy with each other. But don't blame either of them! It was one of the first times they could actually exist; together.

But now they've been together, physically, for a few months. So they really don't need all the touches. It's just that now they hold meaning. It holds the endless love they have for each other.

This time that they were in California they touched less than the time before. They tried to not acknowledge each other. Which, didn't work too well because they still looked and talked a few mines. Although not nearly as much as before.

The only reason for this is to try and keep secrecy. The only time they could get to be together, as a couple, was when they were cooped up in their hotel room or backstage with no one else around.

Dream and George had to try existing separately for the entire event. And it broke both of them.

So when they finally got home. Off the plane, out of a car, in Florida, and importantly now in their bed. They did the most romantic things they could think of.

After they did some activities most of their afternoon, George was exhausted. As a treat, Dream went into his en suite and filled the bath with bubbles and rose petals. He lit candles and placed them around the tub.

"George, come here! I know you're tired but can you walk in here?" He yells out to his boyfriend laying on their bed. He smiles when he hears a groan, followed by footsteps, signaling George is coming.

He steps to the side and lets George walk into the room. "Oh my... Dream, this is beautiful. Thank you so much." With George already being naked he slips into the tub and holds his hand out before he frowns at his boyfriend trying to leave.

"Where are you going? Come join me." George gives Dream puppy dog eyes that he can't ignore. Dream strips from his boxers and carefully sits down behind the other.

The two of them sit in the bath for around an hour. They just sit there and love each other. They already cleaned up earlier so now they just relax. They share fan experiences and things that happened at the convention they hadn't gotten to share until now.

When laying in bed that night they just- they're just each other.

It's hard for either of them to describe it but sometimes they feel like a single being. That it's not just Dream and George, but it's both of them. And they're in love.

So maybe they seem more distant than last year.

So maybe Twitchcon and Vidcon have a few differences, but that doesn't deny the fact they love each other.

They love each other; endlessly and despite divergency.
