Rosé had always dreamed of becoming an actress and she had worked hard to make her dream come true. So, when she was offered roles in two highly successful Korean dramas, she was excited beyond words. However, after careful consideration, she decided to decline both offers. She just didn't feel like those roles were the right fit for her.
Feeling a bit dejected, Rosé decided to call her friend Liv Rooney. Liv had been a successful actress for a few years now and Rosé admired her a great deal. When Rosé told Liv about her situation, Liv listened patiently and then suggested that Rosé consider a role in a new drama that was being produced by Jang Dung Gun, one of the most famous Korean actors of all time.
Rosé was thrilled by the suggestion and immediately called Jang Dung Gun's agent. After a few auditions and discussions, she was offered the lead role in the drama. Rosé poured her heart and soul into the role and the show became a huge success.
As they finished shooting the last episode, however, tragedy struck. Dong Gun died unexpectedly, leaving everyone on set devastated. Liv, who had grown close to Rosé during the shoot, knew that Rosé would need some time to process the loss of her friend and mentor.
So, Liv called Artie Smalls, an admirer of hers who lived in Steven's Point, Wisconsin. Artie agreed to Liv's condition and he took Rosé back to his hometown in Wisconsin. For the next few weeks, Rosé spent her days exploring the small town and spending time with Artie's family. She was grateful for the time away from the industry and the chance to just be herself for a while.
Eventually, Rosé returned to Korea and resumed her acting career. She never forgot about Dong Gun and the impact he had on her life and career. And she remained grateful to Liv and Artie for their kindness and support during a difficult time.
