It's been three weeks since we were at hogwarts. I am staying at the Malfoy Manors as always because my dad doesn't even have time for me, and it just makes sense. I mean, when I was little Draco and I used to be best friends. My Dad lived and worked at hogwarts as a teacher, so there was never much time for me. I would stay at the Manor when I was little while school was in session. During the summer, I would go with my father every weekend like my "parents we're divorced". I only have a dad.
When Draco started at hogwarts, I didn't because it wasn't "safe for me." Father says. But it would only be just me and Narcisaa due to Draco being at Hogwarts and Lucius would be at the ministry.
During the day, Naricissa and I would bake, play around, and plant some pretty plants. Once Lucius would get home, everything would go downhill. Narcissa would send me up to my room when he got home to "keep me safe." She would say. I would be able to hear him yelling at her, and she would be screaming bloody murder, like she was in some kind of pain. I would never understand to tell I got older. I would want to go down and see if she's ok or help her, but I was always too afraid to do so.
This year, once I went to Hogwarts, I didn't have to deal with any of that, but I knew deep down she was suffering.
Me and Draco haven't been getting along even since the train ride home. He's just been ignoring me and not seeming to care when I tell him something exciting. The only time we talk now is when we get called down for breakfast only. I usually don't wake up when we get called, so it's either he tells me and drags me out of bed, or I get yelled at by Lucius.
"Y/n" called Naricissa from the first floor like always. Draco then barged into my room, dragging me out of bed, making me get up. I ran downstairs, knowing I mostly missed breakfast or something because it sound urgent. When I got to the bottom of the stairs, I saw my dad for the first time in weeks. I ran hugging him, and he gave me a pat on the back because he "doesn't do" hugs.
He then said, "Y/n you will be moving in with me. I bought us a house in North Yorkshine, England. Go and pack your stuff." As I heard the news, I bolted up stairs into Dracos' room to tell him the news. I saw a gurl in his room, which means he snuck her in because his mother would never allow this.
"Very slick Parkinson. Handing under the blankets, are you now?" I said. Yes, Pansh and I are friends, but she wasn't a good one. "Y/n, got out," Draco said with a very ferm voice. "I would gladly do so, but I've barged in here to tell you that I'm moving 4 hours away with my dad." And with that, I left the room.
I didn't know what to pack. Was it everything or just most of it? Either way, I packed everything. With the help of a couple of spells, I was down packing it 30 minutes to an hour. On my way out, I didn't bother saying bye to Draco. I thank Naricissa and Lucius for letting me stay for so long and everything they did for me, and with that, I left.
When my father and I arrived at our new home, he showed me straight to my room. It had gray walls, a king-size bed glowing with silver diamonds, a vanity with a clear desk top glowing with diamonds as well, a white dresser once again glowing with diamonds, and a closet with mirrors for the door and glowing with diamonds brim.
I was most surprised by the bed because it was huge. But expected the room to be dark, scary, and green. I'm not saying that's how I wanted it to be, but I was expecting that because I'm a Slytherin, and we're known to me mean, but this is wonderful. I thanked my dad with all my heart because this must have been why I didn't see him for weeks.
"Start unpacking there will be guest over, so you should get dressed and do whatever you have to do before they arrive." My father said. "I'll get ready then unpack. Thank you, dad." I replied as he walked away.
I put all of my shirts and sweaters in the closet on one side. Below that, I put dresses and skirts in the rainbow order, so it looked nice. On the other hand, I put pants and shorts on the other side . Finally, below that, I put my school uniform and all of hogwqrts school merch. Is how I organized it after I was done getting ready.
I went around the house clueless because I wasn't familiar with it yet looking for my father. After about five minutes, I found him in his office. "At what time will people be arriving, Father?" I asked. "In about 4 or 5 hours more or less." He said. I went back to the third floor, which was where my room was. I decided to lay down and take like a three hour nap before fully unpacking.
I woke up several hours later, not knowing what time it was with a knock on my door. "Come in." I said while trying to straighten myself because I just had woken up, and I didn't want them to know. Luckily, it was just my dad letting me know the Malfoys were here. I ran downstairs wearing a fitted black and silver dress with a slit on the thigh greeting Mr. and Mrs. Malfoy, avoiding Draco.
Adventurly more and more people stated coming, and they just kept on getting more and more weirder. My father told me to go to my room and stay in their intell he would come and get me. He was always trying to keep me safe for reasons I don't know. I wasn't allowed to go to hogwarts, my first and second work because It was too dangerous, and wasn't allowed to hang out with Gryffindoors because they were too wild. I am tired of my father always "knowing" what's best for me.
My plan was to sneak down and see what my father was up to around all these scary people. I went up to my room when he told me. I was about to sneak down when someone knocked on my door. "Come in." I blurted out. "How dumb to I have to be. What if it's one of those creepy men or" I said under my breath before they started opening the door. Walked in was a tall platinum blonde, with blue gray eyes and a scent of green apples and some expensive colone. It was Draco Malfoy.
"Nice little brightly colored room. I see it's not dark like Slytherin rooms should be." He said. "Oh, get over it. I'm not a perfect Slytherin. I get it." I said indefence. "I'm just saying." He replied.
"What are you even doing in here? Are you gonna tell me something that you did with Pansy that your father won't hear about?" I said as a comeback. "No. My mother sent me because she doesn't want me near the other death eaters." He said. "Death Eaters? What are those? They sound scary. Are they all those people who are down there?" I had so many questions. "Maybe you should ask your dad those questions because I'm sure you want to hear that from me."
He said with a shacky voice. "Well then, I'll have to find out myself." I said as I opened my door to leave and to go see what's going on down there as Draco stopped me."Let go!" I demanded "Fine I'll tell you, but promise not to tell your father that I said it." But as my other hand, he wasn't grabbing, started burning like it was on fire where my scar is. Draco dragged me into the room, making sure I was ok. "So on October 31 ,He who shall not be named, murdered your parents. He tried to kill you and your brother, but you guys stumped him for some reason. Your mother put a love protection spell on you guys, causing you guys not to die. Snape went to go check on Lily to make sure she was okay. She died that night. It was between you and Harry that Snape could protect. He chose you because you look more like your mother. I'm so sorry, princess, that I had to tell you."
Tears formed in my eyes, and I was too stund to speak. I wanted to run downstairs and confront my dad, but if whatever Dracos said is true, that means that the dark lord who wants to kill me is there too. I felt that this type of information was better off to just keep inside until I felt it's the right time to confront my dad.
For the rest of the night, Draco and I watched movies tell he had to leave.
