Sky panicked and was also confused, Rain had not come home for 3 days. He's been looking for rain everywhere, to his friends' houses, to the places where rain usually goes, even to Phayu's place, but Sky doesn't find rain at all.
Sky has tried to call Rain's cellphone, but all he gets is a diverted voice call. Sky has reported it to the police but the police have not even made any progress at all. Sky was frustrated because he couldn't find rain anywhere.
Sky was so busy looking for rain that he even ignored phai.
"Sky calm down..." phai said when he saw his boyfriend looking worried.
"HOW CAN I BE CALM WHILE I DON'T KNOW WHERE RAIN IS" Sky snapped at Phai, Phai was surprised to hear Sky's yell because this was the first time Sky snapped at him.
"But even you're like this, you won't be able to find rain," replied Phai who tried to stay patient with Sky.
"You don't understand how I feel right now, that's why you can say like that... rain is gone phi phai... rain is gone and it's been 3 days since I didn't know where rain was and you still tell me to calm down." Sky's voice was getting higher, making phai slightly annoyed.
"sky... please don't test my patience" phai's voice became serious, phai didn't like sky to raise his voice at him
"So what? ... if I test phi phai's patience, what will phi phai do?" sky challenged phai back, sky's mind was currently so confused that he couldn't think clearly.
"Sky don't make me do something that you'll regret later" Phai threatened Sky again. Sky bit his lower lip when Phai's grip on his hand tightened, causing his pain.
"If phi phai is here just to fight with me then it's better for phi phai to go. I'll go look for rain" said sky, sky tried to free his hand from phai's grasp.
"Is rain so important to you that you ignore me? You even yelled at me because of rain" those words made Sky stop rebelling.
"Yes ... he is very precious to me ..." Sky said slowly, Sky's words made Phai lose his temper.
"Fine... if rain is indeed more valuable than me just look for him and don't worry about me... it's pointless for me to be here worrying about you while you worry about other people.... Being with you makes me tired " snapped phai, sky's eyes heated up, he wanted to cry right then and there.
' phi phai said being with me is tiring? then what about myself ? who always have to close my eyes and ears every time phi phai brings his sleeping partner to our house' sky muttered in his heart
"then .... you don't need to worry about me anymore" Sky's voice trembled slightly, Phai turned his body towards Sky.
" What do you mean ?? " Phai asked.
" Phi phai .... Lets break up " sky's words made phai freeze, phai never thought that sky would ask to break up with him
"Are you serious about what you said Sky?" Phai asked Sky.
"Yes phi phai, I mean what I said... let's break up" Sky tried to hold back his tears, he wanted to cry but he couldn't.
"SKY...." Phai yelled.
"because phi phai himself said that being with me is tiring.... i just freed phi phai from the burden of thinking about me" sky said cutting off phai's words.
"Phi Phai ....I will set you free today, after this you don't have to worry about me anymore, starting today Phi Phai is free to do whatever Phi Phai wants" For some reason hearing Sky's words, Phai's heart ached.
"You broke up with me just because of rain?" Phai asked again but Sky shook hia head.
"It's not because of rain, our relationship has been problematic from the start phi" phai frowned.
"Phi Phai... have you ever loved me a little bit?" Phai froze again hearing Sky's question.
"..... " Phai cant answer sky question.
"See... even phi phai can't answer my question.. then why do we maintain this one-sided relationship phi" said sky with a smile, but even though he smiled his tears didn't stop flowing
"Phi Phai ..... to be honest, I know from the start that Phi Phai didn't love me, but because Phi Phai was too kind, so Phi Phai could not refuse my confession of love and I was the bad one because I had abused Phi Phai's kindness by still tying Phi Phai even though Phi phai doesn't love me " sky spilled all the feelings he was holding.
"I'm sorry because I kept you constrained, I'm sorry because I took away your freedom, I'm sorry phi phai .... and thank you for all the things you have given me," said Sky before he left to look for Rain again. Phai was silent, he didn't chase or stop Sky at all.
Sky ran while crying.... phai didn't chase or stop him... Sky and phai's relationship has truly ended.
"HUAAAAAAAA....... HUAAAAAAAAA HUAAAAA" sky screamed spilling out all the contents of his heart that he had been harboring all this time, his heart really hurt but sky couldn't do anything. Sky doesn't want his relationship with Phai to end but Sky also can't keep closing his eyes and ears with phai's affairs. If sky doesn't stop now sky is sure his heart will really die. After shedding all his feelings, Sky decided to return to his home, the house he and his brother lived in.
Sky ran when he felt the raindrops starting to wet his body. Luckily he wasn't that far from home. While running Sky covered his head with his hands so his head wouldn't get wet. He stopped when he saw someone standing in front of his house. Sky squinted his eyes to see clearly the person standing in front of his house. Sky's eyes immediately widened when he saw the person in front of his house was rain.
" RAIN" sky screamed and ran towards rain
" Rain... where have you been? I have been looking for you everywhere ? Why didn't you pick up your phone?"sky asked insistently to rain. Rain didn't answer sky's question.
"Rain..." sky called rain once again while holding rain's shoulder but rain still didn't budge.
"Rain" called Sky again, Sky turned Rain's body and Sky widened his eyes when he saw Rain's body. Rain's body was covered in bruises, there were many hickeys on Rain's neck and chest not to mention several bite marks. Rain stared at the sky blankly.
"Rain... what's wrong with you? Why is your body covered in wounds..." Sky looked very shocked to see Rain's body condition. Sky held Rain's cheeks trying to wake Rain from his reverie.
"RAIN LOOK AT ME... RAIN" sky shouted while shaking Rain's head.
"..... sky ...." called rain in a low voice, rain stared at sky for a while before rain fainted, sky panicked when he saw rain fainted in his arms.
_End Flash Back _
Phayu and Phai were silent listening to Peat's story.
"After Rain fainted, Sky brought Rain to his room and called the family's private doctor. Sky was even more shocked when he found out that Rain had been raped and tortured until his body could no longer take it. "Peat's voice was getting colder and emotionless.
"At first Sky didn't know who did it all, even Sky planned to report to the police about what happened to Rain, but Rain refused to make a report and chose to remain silent. Rain didn't tell Sky at all that you were the one who had done it all to rain. You know why rain doesn't tell anything to sky? .... because rain loves you so much, he doesn't want sky to hate you " peat continued his story.
" And since then rain has changed... Rain has become more silent and daydreaming, sometimes every night Rain always screams in fear. But no matter how hard Sky tries to ask what really happened, Rain doesn't want to tell, Rain remains silent " Phayu grinded his teeth hearing the story from peat, he knew what he did was a big mistake but he never thought that it will have a big effect on rain.
"Do you still remember the last words you said before you let go of rain?" asked Peat, Phayu froze... he memorized exactly what he said before he released Rain. Seeing phayu's reaction, peat is sure phayu remembers it.
"You told him.... I just wish you die.... And guess what Rain did?" Peat asked again, Phayu bit his lower lip hoping what he was afraid wouldnt happen.
"Yes....because of your words....rain tried to end his own life...rain tried to commit suicide" Phayu widened his eyes not believing what he heard.
