ELIJAH

Past

I park outside my apartment building and rush inside leaving the keys in the engine. I open the door to my apartment since i forgot to lock it this morning, I see Harmony crying as i make my way to the living room.

I kneel down in front of her hugging her close to me, "what happened," i whispered. "Someone texted me?" she said as she grabbed her phone and handed it over to me.

I take the phone from her and see the text that she had received, it's from the some person that being sending me the same text. I got off the floor and throw the coffee mug that's on the table across the room, hearing it break.

"Elijah!" Harmony yells as she's getting up on her two feet running towards me, i turn around to face her. "We have to pack because we are not safe here baby."

I walk to the bedroom and start packing two bags filling them with cloth and other thing's. I know that Harmony is scared and wants answers, but right now I have to get us both out of here.

"Chris!" I yelled Chris's name as i was wakling inside the modeling company with Harmony behind me and the bags in my hand.

Everyone in the company and the friend's I've made in the past 4 years, all rush out to see what the fuss is all about. I see Sean making his way over, but I grab him by the shirt and pin him to the wall, "where is Chris," I said through my teeth.

"Elijah let him go, and Tara take Harmony with you in the back," Chris said as he came out of his office. I look at Harmony letting her know it's ok, as I walk to Chris's office and take a seat, Chris sits down and folds his hands placing them on the desk.

"You leave here running  back home to your loved one, and then you show up here with two bags and Harmony, what is going on Elijah." I could tell he was mad, but I need his help.

"I need your help, someone is after us and I need a place to stay for a couple of weeks." Chris rubbed his hand across his face not knowing what to do, all I could do is sit and wait.

"I made a few calls, you and Harmony are staying at my pent house that me and my wife go to on the holidays,  but you can stay their as long as you what," he said while opening his drawer and handed me over the key's to the house.

I got up from the chair and thanked him. "You can leave, I'm giving you 4 week's off until thing's claim down for you," Chris said opening the door and walked out.

I walk outside to get fresh air and noticed that it's dark out now, I didn't realize I was so lost in my thoughts when Tara interrupts me "Elijah, Harmony is looking for you." "Tell her I'll be there in a minute."

Harmony runs into my arms as soon as I round the corner. "It's okay, baby don't worry," I said. "Where are we going," she said holding me at arms length. "Chris is letting us stay at his pent house for a few days," I say while rubbing her back.

That same night when we get to Chris house I noticed a package that Harmony didn't by the door as soon as I open it to get inside the house, I pick it up and throw it on the kitchen table once i'm inside. "Harmony I'm home," I said as I make my way upstairs to take a shower,but I get no response from her.

I search the whole house, but she's nowhere to be found. I call and text her but she don't answer her phone and I'm worried that something happened to her.

As I'm about to call 911 I hear the front door open, "I'm home," I hear her say as she makes her way into the kitchen. I drop my phone on the floor and run towards her and hug her tightly, she hesitate at first but then wraps her arms around my waist.

"Where were you, Harmony ," i say against her hair while i let go of her. She had a concerned look on her face as i let go, "I went out to the store, to get something to eat," she said. I take her hand in mine and walk to the living room sitting down on the couch with her on my lap, "you had me worried and i was searching the house to find you, but you weren't here," I said as i brought her close to my chest.

After i finished showering i was downstairs in the kitchen making breakfast for Harmony when she wakes up. I turn around and see the package i left on the table yesterday, as i walk over and notice right away that it has no address on it.

I tear the package open and take out what's inside, what I'm holding leaves me speechless. There picture's Harmony going out to the mall, park, and one in New York visiting here mom, i take out the rest and there more picture's, but of me this time.

I pull out a chair and take a seat, i grab my hair  in frustration not knowing what to do anymore. I just don't want Harmony to worry anymore, because it's not  good for her and the baby.

I found two day's ago when I heard her throwing up in the bedroom,i told her if she was alright and she answered back saying that we were pregnant. At that point i had no words because i was happy, i kissed Harmony while telling her that she made the most happiest man alive.

But now with this i don't what to do and  i feel lost, but most of all feel bad for want I'm about to do, because for the sake of are unborn child she can't find out about these picture's ever.

I'm watch the photo's as they burn in the fireplace with my arm's crossed over my chest, my phone go's off in my so i reach inside my pocket and pull it out 2 unread messages.

Chris: i looks like I'll be going to your wedding after all

As i open the other text i regreat it right away,

Unknown number: hope you liked my little gift, enjoy the rest of your day with your soon to be wife and unborn child

Me: who ever you were stop playing these sick games of yours and leave my family alone

Unknown number: not a chance because your going to pay for what you did to me ELIJAH JAMES and so is your precious Harmony

Me: who are you

Unknown number: you know who i am  don't tell me that you forget me already we use to be partner's in photo shoot together

Me: ROSE! are you kidding me, you need help

Rose: i don't need help, all i want is my job back

Me: what you want me to do about call Chris and tell him to give you your job back

Rose: yes

Me: are you crazy

Rose: no

Me: and if i don't

Rose: if you don't I'm going to hurt your family

Me: I'll see what i can do, but for the mean time plz leave Harmony and me alone

Rose: since you asked me so kindly, fine I'll leave you alone for now

This can't be happening, but if i don't do what rose asked of me i know that she'll find away to hurt us and anyone that gets in her way.

This story was originally called a beautiful lie in book one and book two being beautiful mistake but I'm going to be unpublishing both stories and rewriting this story all together. Two make it into one whole story!

Parts that happened in book one will be told in past flashbacks to better understand what is happening in Elijah's present.

So plz be patient and understand that this is a big progress for me. And I hope that you enjoy this book better.
