She shook her head quickly.
"Give it to me"
Miguel said marking each word, his voice harsh and loud.
He grabbed her arm
"Now"
"No! Please!"
She said hiding her camera behind her back as much as she could.

"Why should I trust you?"
He asked harshly. His voice was now loud.
Stacy'eyes were terrified.

"Answer the damn question... do you really think
I should trust you after stalking me? Huh?!"
He pulled himself more close to her.
She looked away in shame.
She tried to hold tighter the camera behind her, even though she was shaking.

Then he grabbed her arm and pulled her tiny body closer to him.
"I said to look at me..."
He said with a harsh tone once more.
His grip on her arm wasn't painful but it was firm.

"It's the last time I ask nicely, princess.
Look at me"
He quickly squeezed his grip, releasing a small burst of pain in her.
She reluctantly looked at him, her pure blue eyes now afraid as his grip started hurting her.
But she wasn't going to give him the camera. There was no way.

Miguel looked at those scared irides under the mask and he saw terror.
"Tell me, Stacy.
What are you so afraid of?
What do you think I'll do to you?"
He asked staring right into her eyes.

On the other side her eyes widened in worry.
His hand was holding her arm steady.
For a moment she thought he would break it.

"I won't do anything that will hurt you"
He whispered slowly, now with a less harsh voice.
She looked up at him. This proximity was slowly killing her.
He looked...so handsome.
In a second he softly released her arm...

...and in a second he
quickly passed his arm
behind her back and took the camera.

It happened so quickly that Stacy was stunned.
She saw the camera being slipped out of her hand.
Spiderman looked down at her with a new serious look.

"You don't listen to anyone, do you?"
He said in annoyance stepping back now.
"Please, give it back"
She said ignoring him and looking just at the camera.
He chuckled sarcastically.

"And if I don't?
What are you going to do about it?"
He was daring her to try anything.
This could really end badly.

"I-It's mine, you can't-"
"You took a picture of me without my consent.
You know that's really not okay, right?"
Miguel was really tempted to just throw her camera away.
"Please give it back, it's mine"
She insisted, her voice getting angry this time.
"You have no right-"
"What about the right to stalk me?"

She still ignored him, getting mad and trying to grab it from him.
But he was so much taller than her.
"Stop, trying to get it back"
He groaned.
He wasn't a bully but right now he was getting very tempted to do something a little more...rough to this damn brat.
The camera was in his hands and he held it so that she couldn't get it any closer to her.

"Give it back!"
She yelled now very angry and worried.
She was getting so desperate...she didn't even know what to do anymore.
Miguel groaned again. She was really testing him.
He just wished she would just understand how stupid her behavior was.
"I'm tired of your games.
Go home"
But she didn't move and remained in silence.
She looked pretty pissed off.
Now he really wanted to teach this brat a lesson, because this girl really thought she could
play with him pretending to understand.
Miguel's temper finally exploded.

With such a rage he smashed the camera to the ground.
The impact was so strong that the camera was destroyed in a second.
All the pieces flew all over the place, bouncing off the ground.
"NO!"

Stacy remained motionless, too stunned.
"You never learn, do you?"
He asked angrily.

Stacy's blue eyes kept staring in shock at what remained of the camera on the ground.
She felt her legs weaken as she slowly kneeled down in front of the 'camera'.
Miguel was not playing around. He was completely furious.
"No..."
She whispered.

She took some pieces of the camera in her cold hands.
She felt tears in her eyes as she quietly began to sob.

"What did you expect to happen?"
He glared at her fragile figure from above with his now red eyes under the mask.
He was completely enraged and yet...he felt something.
Miguel felt something in his stomach by seeing this young girl crying so quietly with all of those pieces in her bare hands.
The guilt was building up in him.

The camera was now broken, he was annoyed and frustrated at this girl and all because she kept sneaking out.
And yet...he felt bad too.

She still looked at the camera, feeling heartbroken as she tried to get all the pieces together.
"Leave me alone, kid"
He said coldly.
Miguel was still angry but he couldn't keep looking at her like this.
He decided to go away.
Maybe this would make her think for once about what she was doing.

Spiderman left her alone.
And now, all she could do was sit on the ground and cry.
Her camera was broken and so was her fragile heart.
She couln't believe he was able to do that to her.
To treat her like this.
That camera was her life.
Her camera was broken, she had been yelled at and he had clearly rejected and made fun of her feelings.
And yet...she just wanted him to see her as valuable.
Hell, she really thought that he would like her?
That he would even consider her in that way?
She was a fool.

She was just a foolish brat that wasn't even able to be good at school or at home.
She was a weirdo to everyone but when she had met Spiderman...she was truly amazed at how he had defended her...a stranger.
No one had ever done such a thing for her. God, no one ever noticed her.
She had been impressed and...had developed feelings for the hero of NY.
But now she knew that he also considered her a weirdo.
She felt so bad and heartbroken, like she couldn't breath without her heart suffering.

He hated her. He had made it very clear.
Every time she tried to see him, all she got were negative feelings.
Maybe she did deserved this...
Spiderman wasn't her prince charming.
He never was and he would never be.

She put more pieces she could inside her bag as she slowly returned home.
