Excavated had won smaller awards and categories before, but this was the first year they were nominated for Best Show, so it was kind of a big deal. These were the moments Liam dreamed about when he was a kid. Even if they didn't win, he was thrilled to be there with his four favorite people. And they looked hot all dressed up so that didn't hurt.

Margret and Harry helped all the boys pick out their outfits for the night. Liam wanted something a little special so she put him in black pants and a black button up shirt. But the focal piece was the off-white suit jacket that had black lapels. He wanted something that would stand out a bit that would keep up with the current fashion world, even if Liam didn't pay much attention to it usually. But Margret was always in the know and had the perfect outfit for him.

"I'm nervous! This is crazy! That's a lot of press..." Harry shifted in the limo and peered out the window at the flashing cameras.

Harry's white suit was wrapped in black floral designs. He wore a black shirt underneath and even buttoned it for once. With his long curly hair down, he looked more like a model than an actor, but that was nothing new. He wanted to paint his nails to match but he was already nervous about taking such a big fashion risk on his first red carpet. But Zayn painted his toenails black for him and Harry liked having that little secret in his shoes.

He'd never been to something like this. Harry may have liked being the center of attention in kink, but he always got nervous when it came to the media. He was so fidgety and on edge about all the people outside but he'd be fine after some practice.

It overwhelmed Liam back when he had his first successful movie, too. It felt like he was under a microscope and everyone critiqued every little bit of him. His hair, his outfit, his body. Everything was up for discussion online, down to his cuticles and whether he chewed them when he was nervous or not. There was no way to protect any of them from that part, but at least they didn't have to do it alone.

"You look beautiful, try not to think too much about the cameras and just enjoy it!" Liam hugged him tight and kissed his temple. "It will be less crazy once we're inside, I promise."

Louis squeezed Harry and Zayn's hands. "Don't take it too seriously. It's a big event but the fuss will wear down as soon as it's over. Remember to try not to squint at the flashes, that's the hardest part. Though Zayn will just look like a model if he squints." Louis poked at Zayn's side in hopes it would break the tension.

This was pretty much Zayn's worst nightmare. He hated attention and he was going as Liam's date. The episode he'd cameoed in would air not long after the award show, so he knew these pictures would be blasted all over the internet in a few days. But he looked incredible in his double-breasted black suit. His white button-up had a black collar so it was a nod to Liam's outfit. But all five of them matched, per Harry's request.

Louis also looked gorgeous, even though he tried to get away with not wearing a suit (he lost that battle). Harry wouldn't budge on it, thankfully. Margret and Harry ganged up on him and compromised that he could wear a simple black suit as long as it had a little something special to it. They'd picked one with a U-Lock buckle on the side that showcased his perfect little waist. Fitting for a Dom to have a lock on his formal wear, it amused Harry to no end. He wore a white plain scoop neck shirt underneath to remind the Vexxies that he had tattoos, unlike Tommy. Lou was pleased he escaped the button-up shirt so everybody won, really. It was a crime he hated dressing up, he was made for it.

Niall took a drink from the champagne glass the limo came with. "Sucks to be you guys!" He leaned back in the seat, relaxed as ever. Not only had he been to a million of these things, but no one would recognize him since he was behind the camera, not in front of it.
