Liam managed to get away with their excursion through Venice undetected. They had a lovely day together and while they missed Louis and Harry, the three of them had their own special relationship, too. In a way, the Larry anniversary was their time to reconnect as the trio they used to be back when Harry and Louis were exclusive.

They were all back together for the evening, though, and spent hours hanging out by the poolside bar with each other. It was too cold to swim, but none of them minded. They had a proper evening as tourists with drinks, good food, and lots of laughs. That night, they all passed out in the same bed again and declared the second suite was for play only. No one really minded the tight space, since they slept piled up on each other, anyway.

The next day, they spent the afternoon on a private tour of a vineyard, complete with lunch, wine tasting, and incredible views. Niall imagined how fun it would be to film there with the scenic rolling hills. Would make for some memorable scenes if the script was right. Maybe Niall could convince the writers to create a haunted vineyard with magical grapes or something. Admittedly, that'd be an obvious excuse to come back with all their friends from the studio on the show's dime. Since the writers wouldn't get to come, there was no way they'd pull those strings. But Niall could dream!

"Are you going to tell us where you went yesterday?" Niall asked after the wine had chipped away at his patience. His curiosity was getting the better of him. The way Louis's face changed after Harry whispered to him had all the boys intrigued.

"Told you! Shopping." Harry grinned and leaned back in his chair. "I like whatever this wine is. Let's order a case." He took a deep breath of the fresh hair that had been flowing through his curls all day. Harry always seemed a little happier when he was outside.

"Niall, you've got to be patient! The surprise is half the fun," Liam said. He was more relaxed just being away from LA.

"Yeah, but like, you don't have to tell us everything. But what did you buy?" Niall tried again.

"You'll see tomorrow," Harry gave Niall his Dom look, which only made him a little nervous. That was a big hint. They all assumed Harry was shopping for some new toy to play with, but that was as far as they got when trying to figure it out together. They had just about every toy there was at home, though! But this was another clue. It wasn't sweet subby Harry that they'd be playing with tomorrow. That much was clear. And Lou wouldn't sub. So two Doms and a new toy?

Niall was getting more comfortable subbing since both Harry and Zayn had shown him he didn't have to stress so much about fucking up. He had a little trouble controlling his reactions when he was in sub mode, but apparently that was allowed sometimes. But Louis and Harry together? That would be new. Or maybe Harry would just take Louis over again. Niall knew how to handle just Harry.

The guys had gotten a glimpse once when they'd both been in Dom energy together for a scene at work. It was for an episode where they killed a bunch of people in a biker bar. It was incredibly hot to watch, but Niall would never have survived if he'd been one of those extras. Those brave, brave extras. And poor Liam. His character was even tied up for it. Niall couldn't have done Liam's job either.

Shit, Harry was going to get Niall back for all that edging. Louis was scary too! The two of them together would be too overwhelming and Niall would lose all the progress he's made as a sub if they...

Louis laughed. "Niall, what's going on in that head of yours right now? You look like you've seen a ghost."

"Well, if you'd just tell us what you were up to, then I wouldn't be freaking out!" Niall drank more liquid courage. It was delicious.
