A Modern Fairy tale #Wattys2015

And so the journey begins..

Warm air embraced me as i breathed in the environment of the Los Angeles airport.I clutched Mr. Mysterious' mask in my hand, as if it gave me strength and  I took a moment to think back on how i had escaped Deyanira's and Enya's wrath.

* flashback*

'but Deyanira!! You promised! You and dad said i could take a trip anywhere i wanted!' I cried out in vain.

'dah-ling That was when he was alive!' She said matter of factly.

'I remember! He left me with some money! I do! Well come on give it to me ' i suddenly screamed regardless of everything.

'Alright alright, you can go. But on one condition. You must return withen 1 year'. Deyanira said.

'ARE YOU SERIOUS? Are you seriously letting me go?' OMG it's happening!

'Yes mother are freakin serious?' Enya yelled, outraged.

i started dancing like crazy not knowing, neither caring about the slow evil grin that spread on Deyanira's face...

(a/n- incase you are wondering, her father left her a small amount of money to spend it on whatever she wanted)

i was snatched out of my flashback when a saw a cab heading my way. 'Good afternoon ma'am'. 'Good afternoon', i replied. 'Here,let me' he said and with that he took the suit case from my hand. I gave him the required money, the address of the hotel i was staying in and my suitcase so that he could put it in the back seat. Just as i was about to open the door of the cab, he sat in his cab and drove away.

For a few seconds , i stood in shock. My mouth flung open and my eyes opened wide. Everything stopped for a moment. I had no sense, it looked as if my heart had stopped.

ALL THE MONEY, ALL THE FREAKING MONEY I HAD WAS IN THAT SUITCASE!!! I cried at my stupidness of putting all my money in that suitcase. i now only had 10 dollars and a phone in my jeans. I did not know what to do. Tears started prickling in my eyes but my eyes were too exhausted to cry from the flight. I dont know what came over me but i started walking, not caring where i was going. I saw a fountain by the end of the street and decided that i needed water to calm me down. I sighed and started to walk over when.. BAM.

'ouchhhh that hurt' i cried out holding my stomach. I could see a football lying next to me. My apandex must have exploded! Like a cab driver running off with my money wasn't enough.

'im so sorry' a boy with blue eyes and gold curls came running over. I huffed and got up. To my surprise six more boys had joined him and were staring at me.
