Last night my twin sister and I moved to this little town with Our Ma, I guess you could say we were all happy to leave Perth, the coast is so much cooler, well compared to Perth it is. when Daniel (my stupidly idiotic father) cheated on my Ma a few weeks ago all Ma wanted to do was move 'back' to Queensland. Ma grew up in Queensland with her father and mother, but sadly my grandparents died when I was thirteen, four years ago.
I'm really glad we got to move to the Sunshine Coast, it has amazing beaches!
"Mitchell, why didn't you tell me you were talking to yourself again? I told you we should have seen the doctor-"Ma gushes as she walks into my room
"Ma, please calm down, I was just reading a few emails... I told you I don't do that any more." I smile softly looking in her direction, behind my shoulder
"I'm sorry dear, it's just you know I worry about both you and Te," she sits on the edge of my bed "I know I leave you two alone too much, and I'm so sorry"she starts tearing up
"Mama, please don't cry, Te and I, we know you don't want to leave us all the time, but your work asks you too, Ma we love you" I smile pulling her into a hug
"I want you and Te to take this" she hands me two one hundred dollar notes "and go buy new clothes, posters, games... Whatever you want okay darl"
"Mama no" I push the money away
"Mitchell, you need new clothes... These" she gestures to my ripped jeans and faded grey shirt "aren't going to let you fit in, plus all our clothes are worn out, I will call Monica, she will take me shopping later this week, but you two start school in two days" she sighs looking down
"It's okay Ma, Te and I will"
"That's my baby Mitch" she laughs pinching my cheeks
"Ma" I groan running my sore cheeks
"Sorry baby boy" she winks standing up "and try not to get lost".
"I won't Ma" I laugh.

I'm lost. Not even a little lost. really badly, I think I'm screwed lost. i was following the path when I saw Te walk into a clothes store, I kept walking and I saw a gaming store, when I came back out and saw that Te wasn't in the store anymore I walked up the path. I've passed the same art supplies store three times, the small pet store twice and the large subway five times. dont ask me how, but I'm very, very lost!
"Fudge, fudge, fudge" I hear as I pass the art supplies store again, a girl on her phone looking into the hood of her smoking car. fudge? Mmm fudge. "hello mum I'm sorry" she laughs awkwardly "I don't know, I turned it on and was about to back out when the engine started to smoke, nah I'm fine I stopped the car and got out" she pauses for a while, and moves away from the hood then leans against the drivers sides door "ouch mum, you care more about your paints then you do me?" She laughs "mum. mum. mum" she groans "mum, don't worry I'm sure pixie or mr-"she pauses and rolls her eyes "or I could walk home"she sighs I feel as if I'm being my stalker self so I walk into the art supplies store, a fairly old man is wiping his counter with a blue rag which has bright green pain all over it.
"Oi you!" He yells towards me, I walk over to him
"Yeah?" I raise an eyebrow
"Two things, firstly could you be a gentleman and help Lillian with her mums car, it seems it has broken down again" he laughs shaking his head. Lillian? Oh the girl outside I guess "and two, would you by any chance have a twin sister called Te?" He asks leaning on elbow on the now clean counter
"Unfortunately, yes I do... I will find her as soon as I help" I use my thumb and gesture behind me
"Good man" he nods and walks out a door behind the counter.
I walk back out to the girl with the car problem, she is leaning against the side of the car with a box at her feet she is no longer on the phone. She is very pretty, brown curly hair, light tanned skin, a little chubby but I like that on a girl, her lips are a tinted pink/red colour and she has amazing chocolate brown eyes. She is beautiful- no gorgeous!
"Are you Lillian?" I ask once I'm two feet away from her
"Yeah, who are you?" She asks raising an eyebrow, her mouth gapes open slightly as her eyes go wide "I didn't mean to be so rude, sorry it's just I'm-"
"Lillian" I interrupt laughing "I don't mind, I understand." she nods slowly "I'm Mitchell, well I prefer Mitch" I shrug.
"Nice to meet you Mitch, I prefer Lilly" she laughs
"Oh I saw you before..." I pause that sounds creepy, I run a palm down my face "well you were on the phone" I sigh, digging your hole deeper Mitch... "and I was wondering... would you like help?" I ask, I hope she says yes!
"Oh, sorry I just called the towing truck company, its twenty dollars if I cancel it" she smiles sadly "sorry, other wise I would say yes" she laughs. She has a cute laugh.
"You have a cute laugh" my eyes widen. shit I wasn't meant to say that, her cheeks go full blown red and she smiles
"T-thank you" she blushes even harder when she stutters, my head snaps to the road when a loud unhealthy clunk and groan pulls a rusty old tow truck into the small car park. "well I better go, it was uhh nice meeting you Mitch" she waves as she walks over to the tow truck.
Wow.
"There you are" I spin and see a frowning Te " I have been looking all over the place for you, of course you don't bring your phone, of course you walk off, and of course you get lost" she yells glaring at me, I smile. "why are you smiling like that?" She raises an eyebrow glaring at me "a girl? Please don't tell me you already found yourself a slut" she groans "you promised you wouldn't" she glares at me,
"Well she's something alright, but she's not a slut that's for sure" I laugh walking towards my car
"Oh really and what was she wearing huh?" Te stops walking and crosses her arms
"Dark blue loose jeans, a black singlet and a light purple jacket, her amazing brown hair was in a pony tale, she also was wearing a pair of worn out joggers, as well as a set of square rimmed dark blue glasses, anything else?" I ask with an annoyed sigh
"Hmm" her eyes widen "oh my god" she smiles "I saw her, she is a total cutie! A little nerdy... though, not your usually type, you better not hurt her Mitchell" she points her finger at me
"I won't probably even see her again dipshit" I laugh unlocking my blue two door jeep
"You do know there is only two high schools that the locals go to right? And I was talking with this girl called pixie at the pet shop... She goes to Shaleten high, and so does your pretty little friend" he winks and hops in.
Maybe I will get to see her soon....
