june 1997 'Today on anguk radio stastion, july are approaching us. its been raining for days so make sure to bring your umbrella before going out and wear a warm clothes. the road will be slippery so be extra careful to not fall while taking a walk. make sure to not falling in love too in this warm but cold weather. thats all for today, with love.'
"MOM! I WILL TAKE ONE ORANGE JUICE IN THE FRIDGE!" shout the girl that believe supposed to take care of the small shop and sell the groceries. But instead, she's the one that always drink and eat the snack and juice there.
"ORANGE JUICE? AGAIN? IF YOU KEEP ON SLACKING OFF, WE WILL GO BANKRUPT BECAUSE OF YOU!." shout her mom's back from their house balcony that are just below the shop. also the owner that supposed to be responsible towards the shop but leave it in the care of her iresponsible daughter.
without heeding her mother's screams earlier the girl walk straight to the fridge and open it. she tip toe to get the orange juice but it's too high for her to reach. she try again but fail.
suddenly an arms approach the fridge from her back grab the orange juice. she turn around and see a tall and pale boy reaching the can behind her. he look at her when they face each other.
they look at both of their eyes. the boy had a breathtaking look with perfect nose and jawline. she notice a mole on his nose bridge that perfectly complete his face well. he got a magnetic eyes that could drawn any girl right now. but he have cold and emotionless look.
"thank you" she reach out her hand to grab the can. she may think that the boy are helping her to get the orange juice.
the boy take out another one and look at the girl again. "I will take this." he muttured then walk away to the counter.
the girl freeze in her position and blink several times. she clear her throat then slick her hair behind her ears trying to hide her embarrassment. "thats embarrassing" she muttered to herself.
but thats ok, she have her own motto in her life. which is 'things happen, life goes on.' thats her motto. so she walk inside the counter for the payment.
she take both of the can and scan it. After the boy had done his payment, he open the can and he push the can gently on the counter surface towards the girl.
"you can take this." said him with a poker face.
the boy quickly leave the shop. he walks calmly in the rain as the heavy downpour soaks away his baby blue t-shirt.
the girl watch him until he dissapear from her sight. suddenly her heart start to beating loudly like it is giving a sign. she look again at the orange juice can. "hes weird" she put her other palm over her chest to feel the fast beat.
"never see him around here. are he new here. maybe from the city?" muttured her to herself.
she gaze at the raining sky. it was cloudy and grey. something in the rain make she feel warm and comfartable. she take a deep breath. the smell of rain, the smell of leaf getting soak with a rain.
"it must be nice if i could read books and rot in bed with warm blanket all days." she sigh.
"but who is he?" she question again. the scene just now come again in her thought.
