Hey guys, gays, gals and non-binary pals so these are just some random pieces of poetry that I wrote a while ago and decided to publish. Let me know what you think of them
ADHD/ neurodivergent
I am encrusted with rules
Restricted with jewels
Or is that backwards
My mind is a mess
No beginning no end
Pumped full of meds from their start to finish
My brain is not my own
There are voices here not the whispers
But the bells clanging and screeching
Shouting their orders
I wish for peace for quiet
I wish for the freedom of mistakes
Of small repetitive habits
But they are gone
Kept away by order
They lock up the madness
They lock me up
They keep my contained
I am too much
I am too strong
I confuse them
They have me addicted prescribed and polished
One day I will be free
One day I will be human
