Maya pov: I ran into the forest until I found a good spot for rest. I set up camp and chilled for the night. After that day I trained in the forest. (4 years later) a smoke bomb exploded on the middle of bonesborough and catches everyone's attention " hello people of bones Brough, my name is maya and I am here to show you our way of life!" I announced.

I was about to do a spell when I got attacked by coven guards. I arrived at ribdis and did another speech " why trust someone who no one has seen til now!?" I said " go home kid!" A crowd member yelled while throwing bleeding tomatoes at me. 2 months later and I had gone to 14 cities " citizens of Groinopolis, my name is maya walker and I am here to show you the truth that you have been blinded by" I announced.

" the emperor is blinding you with pretty colours" i said " why should we trust you!" Someone sad " the emperor has the trust of the princess" they said, they l started yelling at me. I walked down and started to head home until I heard someone yell " help!" She was seeing dragged into the dark corners of the street.

I grabbed sleeping spells and ran towards her. " help! he-" " shut up!" Coven guard said, he was getting a branding glove and about to give the witch a sigil. I released the sleeping spell while hanging from above them. The guard and the witch both fell asleep. a few hours later back at my hut the witch woke up " ugh wha-what happened?" She asked.

" i helped you" I gave her some fairy soup. The witch looked confused " you were struggling so I helped you, you're welcome" I said " oh-uh th-thank-you" she stuttered " how old are you?" She asked " 13" I replied " 13!?" She yelled " how?!" " well I was born 13 years ago" i said " but you where able to take down a coven guard when me a grown adult couldn't even!" She said.

" I don't know I guess I just trained harder than you" I said " huh" she looked around the hut " what is all this" she said " hm?" " this art, these weapons, these plans, and what kind of house is this and" she took a deep breath " why...why did you help me?"  she asked.

I sighed " when I first saw the emperor offering the covens to my home I didn't believe him, I thought: if wild magic is so dangerous why would the titan show now instead of later. I saw the emperor and his followers heading closer to me, I was scared and... I ran away. Ever since then I trained myself so I could help my home because I know this is all one big lie" I said.

" I also don't believe that you can only chose one coven" I said " I wanna help go back to the things they where, because we where happy then, not know" I said " your good at fighting, building and cooking. I think if you work hard enough you could actually make a change, but not by yourself" the witch said. She offered to join me and I officially made her my assistant.

I would help save wild witches from guards and jail, while my assistant would help check them into our new home.
