Acceptance

Kai's POV

It was pride month and I was thinking about coming out, but I'm nervous that the others wouldn't accept me. Me and Nya grew up with accepting, and not-so accepting neighbors. So I'm kinda scared.

I scroll through my phone and find out a pride parade is happening this evening. I get an idea that has to work. Lloyd is the only one that knows my sexuality, so I send him the link for the pride parade so he can show it to the others. If he begs them to go they'll definitely agree. Mostly cuz he's the favorite.

I then hear Lloyd call everyone to the living room for a group meeting. Alright, let's do this. I walk to the living room where everyone else is, with Lloyd in front of them. "Ah Kai's here, now I can tell you guys what we're doing today!" Lloyd say excitedly.

"And what would that be Lloyd?" Zane asks. "We're going to a Pride parade that's going on in the city!" He explains. I really hope this works. "Oh that sounds like fun! And we could wear pride themed outfits!" Nya exclaims. "Yea based on our sexuality's!" Jay adds. The others all start to agree with the plan.

I'm actually kinda surprised they agreed but, then again they are very supportive of peoples choices. "Kai are you in?" I look up from the ground to see Cole looking at me. "Oh-um yea yea, I'm in." I answer. "Alright! Then it's settled. We're going to the pride parade, which starts at 9:00pm. So let's get ready!" Lloyd finishes. So we all go to our rooms to get ready.

I'm sitting in my room sketching my outfit on a piece of paper, so I have a visual. When I'm done sketching, I then go to my closet to put together my outfit. It takes a while for me to get everything, but that's mostly because my closet is kinda big. I put on my outfit, brush my hair, and yes, I'm wearing my hair down.

(Imagine the shirt is white without the logo. And imagine the belt is pink, blue and yellow. And the pockets are the same as the belt.)
