Three loud knocks against my door.
"I'm not gonna tell you again, get up!" My dad shouts from outside my room. You see my dad, Ethan, has a tendency to yell at his kids more then he realizes. He doesn't mean to but it just happens.
"I'm up!" I shout back. The light from the window is gleaming in on my face, the Color's dancing on the denim blue wall. The door opens and in runs a 12 year old girl, my sister, Lilianna. She a sandy blonde, 4'11, small built kid.
"Get up! It's moving day!" She half yells while climbing up on my bed.
"I'll leave when I'm dead" I refute.
"Dad said he's gonna beat you're.... A-S-S"
"He's all bark no bite."
"Whatever, but you might want to get up because Carson getting ready and he takes the front every chance he gets." She says way to cheerfully for 7 am and exits the room.
I bolt out of bed while grabbing my shoes and socks but not actually putting them on.
Having a five seater car and one parent out of the house means that one kid gets shotgun. I always get shotgun.

My feet burn as they hit the torrid cement. Carson, who's almost at the car, speeds up his pace after hearing me sprinting behind him. As I pass him and reach the car I get in the front seat and try to slam the door. The door is met with his hand as the pushes it open.
"I called shotgun!"
"I sat down first!"
"Boys!" My dad shouts from the garage.
"Stop arguing; Carson, get in the back. Sawyer, put your damn shoes on."
"But dad-" Carson stops, but is interrupted by dad saying he doesn't want to hear it. we all pile into the car and drive off.
"So what town are we going to again?" Carson asks.
Dad replied "Beacon hills"

It takes A few hours to arrive at the new house, and by a few I mean 7. 7 fucking hours stuck in a car next to my father. It's better than sitting next to Carson and Lilianna but Ethan isn't any better. When we finally do get there my other dad, Jackson comes outside to greet us.
"Daddy!" Lilianna shouts and runs up to him.
"Hi Princess." He says.
It's almost 6 pm and the sun is setting. My parents walk up to eachother and start discussing when the movers should be here. The rest of us head inside. The house is big. Not huge but big. It's like every other house we have been in. My family moves a lot. We moved 3 times last year. Ethan is in the military and when he isn't deployed he's a firefighter whose gets transferred stations constantly. We follow. Jackson is a psychologist. He makes the most money.
Every time we move we have a system to determine who gets which room. The master goes to my parents obviously, my brother gets the biggest room even though I'm the oldest. My sister gets the next room. I get the smallest it's easier to escape when need. Plus it's always close to my parents room. It's embarrassing but I wake them a lot. Between nightmares and panic attacks they worry about me, a lot. Either way I have a feeling I'll have one tonight because tomorrow is my first day at a new school. Im less than excited.
