While this trope is a beautiful thing in stories and fairy tales, in reality, there are much higher stakes. From abuse to emotional torture, the time Juno had to fix her relationship with Stiles for their friend Scott's sake was too much for her to handle.
It has always been much easier for the two of them to hate each other. They could let all of their anger out on one person, it was therapeutic, cathartic. The sole issue was that behind the scenes of Juno's life, there was far too much for her to vent about. Such an intense amount of psychological trauma that Stiles could never fathom.
