Spirit(POV):

I woke up to the sounds of the sun laughing in the distance..I yawn blinking my eyes awake.. I look up to see the sleeping giant in top of me. He's practically wrapped around me.. Sleeping so peacefully for the first time. 'I don't think Stein really ever sleep before until now..' I blushed a little and started to kiss his face..

Stein groaned a little bit as he nuzzled me tighter.. 'I don't think Stein can get any cuter then this..' I chuckled cutely watching this animal get comfy on top of me.. He started to stir in his sleep by placing light kisses on my neck.. I started to whimper and squirm as he chuckles.. "Morning Kitten.."

✨BY DEATH HIS MORNING VOICE✨

Stein opened his eyes as they still were glowing faintly. "You know your eyes are still glowing faintly.. is that supposed to be normal?.. " Stein stretched looking over at me "Really?" Stein even tilts his head in confusion like a cat..  Then Stein shrugged his shoulders "It'll probably go away eventually.. For now lets eat and head back to school since its your first day back senpai"..

I hadn't even realized that I had fully healed and deemed good to return to work.. It was nice taking off for a bit despite getting hurt and all. I still owe an explanation to Maka and Stein about.. hurting myself.. a cold shiver was sent down my spine just thinking of all the things that could go wrong..

Before I realized it Stein had pulled me out of my thoughts by placing a sweet and gentle kiss on my lips.. I looked up at Stein nervously "Whatever your feeling or thought going on around your head can worry about it later when your ready.. ok?" I nodded with a sigh finally bringing a smile back.. "yeah you're right.. wait how'd you know?.."

Stein just chuckled "Because baka when we linked our souls last night we became as one so now we feel what each other feels.." The images from last night flash before my eyes. It really did get erotic last night.. I quietly crossed my legs watching Stein take off his shirt. He turned around and I noticed all the scratches I gave him last night. The sudden urge to touch was slipping in my intrusive thoughts..

Stein smirked looking back at me "Too bad I can't help with that.. lets get dressed and head out before LordDeath comes for us.." I rolled my eyes as I walked off to the bathroom.

Stein(POV):

Finally arriving at the DWMA as we walked through the doors. All the students swarmed up to us but mostly Spirit. They were all giving him hugs and bombarding him with questions.. Then why did I started to feel hostile a little bit?.. Ahh is this the possessiveness once again?.. Perhaps..

I guess we should head to class then..

Shortly after we parted ways I could barely focus on teaching. Even though I can feel everything from him..  Just not having him next to me or in my presence makes me.. sad?.. Do I miss him?.. I sighed twisting screw as the students do their work quietly. Even Maka looked a bit distracted..

"Ms.Maka will step out with me for a second?.. Won't take long.." Maka nodded and quietly walked down the steps out the classroom. She leaned against the lockers twiddling her thumbs. "Whats floating around in that head of yours?.."

She sighed looking away.. "Its just that.. all these years Ive been nothing but a brat to Papa.. I know he can act weird all the time but I always managed to push him away from me when all he wants from me is to acknowledge him.. Not taking in consideration all he has done for me.." Maka started to whimper and tear up a bit.. "A-and I don't know how to go about this with him..."

I sigh mentally.. she really has grown up.. though Im not capable enough to handle such emotional situations.. Even though.. last night gave me a.. different point of view of.. emotions.
Emotions are tedious specimen... But it doesn't mean I can't learn the way of these.. feelings...

"Maka... Your father has an unmatched love for you then your mother.. Do you think she would be here? Do you think things would've been different if you were with her and not your Papa?.."

Maka lifted her head staring at me as I twisted my screw hearing the faint click. "Just so you know Maka.. you're father has.. changed me in a way I didn't think was possible.. But I think it's possible for you to start now.. Though you're father might explode from happiness.." Maka smiled lightly.. Whenever he see the girl he would drop whatever he was doing and run to her in a heart beat.

"Y-yeah you're right professor Stein.. Thank you for this. Even though it's highly unnatural for you to pull something like this.." I chuckled lightly "Yeah don't get use to it.. I'll make an exception because your his offspring.."

She smiled a bit more before tilting her head to the side staring at me.."Can you explain why your soul looks different?.. " For the first time Im actually blushing.. "I prefer your father to handle this but.. I'll briefly state that.. you're father has stolen my heart and soul for that matter.. more of rekindling from our young days.." Just the sheer thought of this is making me embarrassed

Maka stared at me for a moment before chuckling weakly scratching the back of her head before sighing.. "Wow thats alot to take in but honestly.. professor.." Maka walked towards me grabbing my hand staring me in the eyes "Please take care of my Papa.. Probably alot to ask but you're the right person for him.." Hearing those words full of trust made my heart shockingly leap with happiness and confidence..

I looked up at her and nodded with a smile "I'll take good care of him.. as long as you do your part as well Maka.." She nodded a bright smile "I will professor! Can you tell him to meet me at the top of the stairs when school is over please?.. I think Im ready to do this.." I nodded "Of course I will.. Now lets head back in.. "

Spirit(Pov):
LordDeath has been keeping a close on me since I came back.. I've taught a few classes and brief conversations between others.. I wonder why.. I hope its not the hickeys he's spotting! My brain started racing with to many thoughts while nervously sweating.. 'Ohh mann he's probably judging me!! Or worse he's gonna outcast me to another district!' I took a deep sigh and swatted all those unpleasant thoughts away.

"Spirit.." I jumped a little abit "Yes Lord Death?.." He sat down at his table sipping his tea quietly. " You can relax! Your almost turning as pale the clouds floating by in here!" I chuckled lightly while taking a seat. "My apologies sir.. Just alot going on in my head.." Lord Death hummed to himself "I understand.. But really its alright that you and Stein are together!" I spitted out my tea as my face burned with embarrassment.

I slammed my head on the table groaning. I shot my head up in confusion looking up at him "Wait.. How do you know??"

Lord Death chuckled "Come now Spirit.. We're grown adults but also besides the love bites!" I groaned 'Im definitely getting stein back for those!.. I'll never hear end of it!'

"Your Soul has definitely change as well DeathScythe.." I looked up at him curiously "Sir?.." Lord Death hummed briefly.

"Well besides you and your steins Soul Connection... It seems you have some sort of black blood swirling around in you as well.. Something we need to take into consideration and a watchful eye.." I looked him blankly. 'I have black blood... Im a Black Blooded DeathScythe?.. Is such a thing possible?.. How is it going to affect Lord Death? Oh even worse Stein...and his madness...'

"Is that a good thing Sir?.." Lord Death sipped his tea, "I believe in this case if could definitely be an advantage in battle in the case of the Kishin awakening.. So I do believe its our upper hand to test and have a firm control over.. See if stein may have any input!"

I sighed quietly before nodding "I will Sir.." Lord Death plucked my nose as I yelped "Hey! what was that for?!" He laughed with delight "Don't be so down young DeathScythe! Think of it as new territory to explore!"

I sighed rubbing my sore nose with a grunt.. "I suppose your right Sir.." I mean.. What's the worse that could happen?
