Chapter 5

        The trip to Mount Sagiri didn't take long. Though, you weren't exactly met with welcoming arms. You were met with Tanjiro and who you assumed to be Urokodaki holding katanas, ready to battle. The old man spoke in a rough, stern voice.

        "Stop. You carry a demon, maybe two, with you that have eaten many humans. Surrender them to be killed before taking another step."

        You sighed. Holding your hands up in surrender, you called out, "You are correct. I carry with me Upper Moon One and Upper Moon Three. Everything I told Tanjiro is true, the only thing I left out was that I have lived with these two demons since I arrived in this world. I ask that you believe me when I tell you that they haven't eaten a single human since I arrived dattebayo! They have forsaken their former master and have pledged to help the demon slayer corps in their mission to defeat Muzan."

        The old man dropped his sword in shock. 

        You had Upper Moon One and Three? That couldn't be possible. He needed to see it for himself. Picking up his sword, he turned and went inside, leaving the door open for you and Tanjiro. You took this as an invitation to come in so you started walking again. Tanjiro hugged you, which genuinely shocked you since you confirmed you had two upper moons with you, but nevertheless you hugged him back. The two of you went inside and sat down around a table. Without needing any instructions, you summoned Akaza and Kokushibou let himself out, growing to his full size. Both demons glared down at the two demon slayers menacingly, a heavy and dangerous aura settling in the small room. The former Hashira and Tanjiro started to sweat. Fear gripped their hearts and their adrenaline raced.

        Your angry voice rang through the room as you karate chopped the demons on the head. 

        "Hey! Stop that 'ttebayo. You're scaring them." 

        A sizable lump formed where you hit them and they immediately sat next to you, their once imposing forms now small and pouting. Tanjiro and Urokodaki stared in a mix of awe and horror at the scene. You effortlessly humbled two of the most powerful demons in the world like they were misbehaving puppies.

        "Say, Tanjiro. Did you let Urokodaki read my letters?" Tanjiro nodded. A gleam appeared in your eyes and you slammed your hands on the table. Leaning forward, you eagerly asked, "Do you know how I can get home? You were once a Hashira right? You have to know something."

        "I have never heard of anything like your situation. I'm sorry I can't help you," he grumbled. Your face fell and you sat back in your seat. Akaza patted your shoulder in sympathy and you caught Tanjiro giving you an...odd look. It seemed like Urokodaki sensed something about him too since he turned his head in the boy's direction. But before he could say anything, you all heard the faint sound of wind chimes. Urokodaki stood abruptly. "The swordsman is here with your katanas." Akaza disappeared in a blue flash and Kokushibou went back into the box. You brought it to another room while Tanjiro went outside to greet the swordsman. When you returned they were all sitting down. Tanjiro held a sword that started turning pitch black. The swordsman started throwing a tantrum, saying something about wanting a red blade. He lunged at Tanjiro and pulled his cheek.

        You grabbed him by his underarms and pulled him off of Tanjiro. Gripping him close as he struggled, you grunted, "Do you happen to have my weapons 'ttebayo?" He froze and you let your guard down, not expecting him to suddenly cease his struggling. He wrenched free and turned around to point an accusatory finger at you. 

        "You crazy girl! You're the one that ordered so many un-swordsman-like weapons!" 

        You huffed and folded your arms. "Well yeah, I'm a ninja first, swordsman later dattebayo! You got a problem with that? Huh? That's what I thought, 'ttebayo!"
