3 Days Later
Muichiro's PoV:
I have been having these nightmares everynight... I'm growing restless... The only thing calming me at this point is Tanjiro, this mission has been set aside temporarily due to my condition. Tonight Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke will go and fight the demon. Nezuko will be staying with me. I thought I was a burden, that it should be my job as hashira to protect people, not to be protected by them.
Nezuko: Don't worry... Brother... will be fine...
Muichiro: Right... Fine... Nezuko, can you tell me about your brother when you were little?
Nezuko: hm? Little... Hm... I... Remember th- there were times we go to the riverside, mother forbids us from going there but... We like the water... We would try to catch fish... Brother would always catch the most of them...
I saw Nezuko tear up a bit.
Muichiro: Do you miss those times?
Nezuko: of course...
Muichiro: Don't worry, I'm sure your brother will turn you back and you will do those things you used to do again.
Nezuko: Thank... You...
Nezuko may be able to speak, but only a little. She stutters or cut sentences sometimes. But it's fun talking to her, I've never talked to a peaceful demon before.
We heard Tanjiro and the others arrive, they had good and bad news
Tanjiro: Which one do you want to hear first?
I thought for a moment before saying.
Muichiro: Good...
Tanjiro: The demon has been defeated...
Muichiro: And the bad?
Tanjiro: A new lowermoon with a strength close to uppermoon 6 has appeared.
Muichiro: A w- what?!
Tanjiro: Seems like Muzan is working on his demons since the defeat of uppermoon 6, 5, and 4.
I quietly looked down, knowing that I can't even help cause of my condition. Tanjiro had send a message to Shinobu-san to send more medicines for me two days ago, we are expecting it tomorrow.
The Next Day
Tanjiro's PoV:
I'm expecting medicines from Shinobu-san today. It's for Muichiro, I've also asked for backups due to the Lowermoon. We can't handle such thing alone, it hasn't even used blood demon arts and we were already beaten. I heard something by the door and expected it to be the medicine and the backups, What I didn't expect was Shinobu-san herself holding a bag filled with medicines.
Shinobu: Hi Tanjiro! I came to bring the medicines and also as backup.
Tanjiro: Oh, I didn't expect you here. I was expecting 2-3 mid-ranking demon slayers.
