This is a story for my friend MizuKunai.
The story is a about a girl who we'll just name...Emily. She lives in Hateno Village during the Upheaval in Tears of the Kingdom.I wake up at 6:00 am, and get ready for school. All I can think about is how Link and Zelda are doing. Ever since they went under Hyrule Castle, strange things are happening. More monsters, weird red stuff people are calling "gloom," and ruins falling from the sky! It's so strange, and sometimes I feel unsafe. But it's ok.
I hear Mother call, "Hurry Emily! You're gonna be late!"
I quickly grab my Cece hat. "Bye Mom, I love you!"
"I love you more!" She replies. And with that, I'm out the door.

Mr. Symin talks about fractions, and I write down notes. I do quite well in my classes. Then I start to think about Dad. He went to Lookout Landing to help. I miss him. So, while he's gone I do some work in the fields. I've been growing wild berries. (I got the seeds from a traveling Gerudo, she was so cool!) I also pick apples.
After class is over, Mr. Symin tells us we'll be talking about the Calamity next week. I'm pretty exited. When Princess Zelda was here, I would ask her questions about the Calamity, and how Link saved her. She was so nice and taught me a lot.
I go work in the fields for a couple hours, then I go to see my friend, Koyin. I walk to her house wondering what we will do today. Koyin is just a few years older than me. She told me Link saved her sheep from monsters at Hateno Bay once.
I go inside, but she's not there. So, I go outside and look around. I greet Dantz and walk over to the dock where I see Koyin.
"Hey!" I say.
"Hey Emily!" Koyin replies. "Isn't Lake Sumac beautiful?"
"Yeah, it is. Why are you here?"
"I saw some fish in the water." Koyin says. "Come on, let's go inside."
We go inside her house and sit on the floor near the beds.
"Hey, I've got something to show you!" Koyin looks into a drawer and pulls out a small box. She brings it to where we're sitting.
"I found this under my bed last night. I haven't opened it, because I wanted to wait for you. I kinda wanna go back to the dock before it gets too dark though, you don't mind right?"
"I don't." I say.
We head to the docks and sit down.
"Ok," Koyin puts her hand on the lid of the box. "Three...two...one." She opens the box and finds a bottle inside. She very quickly pulls it out.
"Hey look Emily it-" She accidentally drops it in the lake, and it starts to float away.
We both can't swim.
"Oh no!" Koyin cries.
"Hey, it's ok, we'll find a way to get it tomorrow." I tell her.
"Ok...I have to go inside for dinner, I'll see you tomorrow."
"Bye." I wave.
"Bye." She waves back.

"Welcome home, Emily. How was your day?" Mother asks.
I put my school things on my bed.
"It was alright. Yours?"
