in real life!

At 7:38pm, Wren found herself walking the stairs to George's apartment. She may have been a little late but it was for a good cause. She could hear the music slightly from the outside but it wasn't too bad.

She tried the door and it seemed George expected her to because it was already unlocked. She walked right in, immedietly seeing a few youtubers and tiktokers she could recognise vaguely.

She closed the door, scanning the room before she saw the birthday boy standing with a few others. She made her way over and grinned. He smiled.

"You're late!" He said, pointing to the watch on his wrist.

"For good reason." She said handing him the tupperware box she'd brung with her. He looked in the bottom.

"Muffins!" he said excitedly as he hugged her. "I'll let you off then."

She handed him a wrapped gift, "Happy birthday georgey boy."

"Thanks Wrenny." He said with a smile. It wasnt often that George dropped the sarcastic jokey demeanor. "This is Grace and Joe."

He motioned to the two in front of him as he set down the box of muffins.

"Hello." She greeted. "Im Wren."

"So this is the best friend." Grace comments with a smile and a nod. "You didnt tell us she was hot as fuck!"

"Ew, never say that again." George says with a grimace.

"If I wasnt gay." Joe adds in, "Although, my straight arse brother is around her somewhere."

Grace and Joe laugh, as does Wren.

"I'm alright thanks."

"I think you've had enough of this." Grace says, taking away the cup from his hands.

"Do you want to meet some more of my youtube friends?" George asks eagerly.

She nods, "Sure."

"Catch you later!" Grace says, holding her glass high.

He drags Wren by her wrist over to another group.

"This is Cam, his girlfriend Chloe, Alex and Max." He says pointing around them, "Everyone, this is Wren."

"Ah, you're wren from the photo."

"That'll be me, yes." She admits with a grin. "I'm sensing a theme, does he talk about me often?"

"To me, yes." Max says with a sarcastic roll of the eyes. "Mainly bad things though. He never told me how absolutely gorgeous you are."

"It seems he keeps leaving that out." She says with a deep sigh.

"You people disgust me."

"I still can't believe he knows a women." Alex admits. "Like an actual, living, breathing, single woman who doesn't want to kill him."

"Alright, I'm still standing here." George adds sarcastically. Alex laughs. George turns to Wren, "I'll leave you to wonder, if you'd like."

"Thanks." She said as he went to greet someone else.
