Darkness/Shadow manipulation

Users can create, shape and manipulate and. Darkness is mostly used to cloud everything into total darkness, but can also be channeled to a variety of effects, both as an absence of light and a solid substance: one can also control and manipulate the beings that exist there, create and dispel shields and areas of total darkness, create constructs and weapons, teleport one's self through massive distances via shadows, etc.

Note: Darkness Manipulation is essentially the same as Shadow Manipulation, in the sense that all of its applications would be identical. Hence why both powers are merged into one.

Elemental Control

Users can create, shape and manipulate elements. Elements are the rudimentary, simplest or and essential parts of which any material thing consists. Elements are irreducible in nature and compose other (usually physical) things. Various combinations of elements can be used to create other things. For example, Ice could be thought of as a combination of Water and Earth since it is water made solid. The exact details of how elements combine, what each element does, and even which things are elements is canon/paradigm specific.

Regardless of the specific elemental paradigm in use, users of Elemental Control may be able to affect things composed in part of their element. For example, Toph from Avatar: The Last Airbender  learns to control metal using earthen impurities within it.
